Are holes big enough to thread frayed laces tips through?

Yes, if you roll a little tape around them first. One tip, if you have a small "C" clamp, you can lock the button down when working with them.

Ideas on how to thread laces tips squared and soft?

I use a tapestry needle that's large with a blunt end (the kind used for cross stitch or plastic canvas). Then gently push the laces through until I can grasp them from the other side. The thing that makes it tricky is having to squeeze & hold the spring lock open while pushing the lace through. A couple of times I had to have my husband or son squeeze the lock while I threaded the lace.

My laces are frayed at the tip any ideas on how to feed them through the holes?

I taped my frayed ends and then remove the tape after I got them through

Are holes big enough to pm thread frayed laces through?

Depends on the size of the laces.
