I bought these for a close friend of mine who is a carpenter, obsessed with DeWalt trousers and refuses to wear external knee pads.Whilst they are good value for money and certainly do ‘what they say on the tin’, I have seen better knee pad inserts out there.The design of them allows them to bend and contour to the knee when moving, which makes them more comfortable.Additionally, the design allows them to be easily cut, to fit the trousers pockets, should they be too large.Unfortunately the knee insert placement on his trousers isn’t the best, so they don’t sit perfectly on the knee when he bends, which does take the point out of them. However, that is a criticism of the trousers and not the pads.Overall you cannot complain for the money. The biggest pro is that you can leave them in the trousers and stick them in the washing machine!

Positives : extremely comfortable , good value for money , perfect size for my work trousers without needing to cut them down and also when washed in washing machine they was still perfect to my surprise I would buy again

Cut these and cut down to suit the trousers but not great. When leaning down the pad wasn’t always centred on the knee and it wasn’t comfortable. A set of knee pads that strap to outside of trousers will be much better so will bin these and search again

Seem durable just very rigid in your trousers, hold the the fri t of your trouser leg very straight so makes them tight on your legs
