Small Pack Size, Big Convenience
I have had a small packable camp chair in my trunk for years. I forgot how many times it has helped me out at kids sports and events where packing a chair just didn't cross my mind. It was important to me to replace that after it broke since I have become dependant on always having a chair in my car. I wanted something that packed small enough to throw in my trunk that I never had to take out in order to load something else up. I found out about Cliq through a random search and was immediately impressed by the size and portability. When fully compacted it is not much bigger than a Stanley style thermos. Size: Like I said above about the size of a stanley. It weighs in around 4lbs, and would fit in almost any daypack, backpack, or beach bag. You can buy a carry case for it separately. Assembly/Breakdown: First time out of the box with no instructions read, I was sitting in about 30-40 seconds. I am confident now that I know how to set it up it will take about 10-12 seconds. Breaking down is about the same but give it more like 20-30 seconds after you strap it up and secure it. It's really just as easy as advertised. However do not believe the video where the guy just throws it up and it "pops open" Yes that does happen, but there are some extensions you have to pull out first before sitting on it. To collapse the arms, you slide the extensions back in and then push the button at the center of all the arms and legs, this releases the lock and you can easily fold everything back up stuffing the chair material into the center. Comfort: Not the most comfortable chair out there, but as good or better than any I have found in this size range. I'm not looking for a soccer dad lay-z-boy. Just a chair I can easily set up and sit on with acceptable comfort. This checks the boxes. Extras: Unfortunately there's not much. I'd love to have the carry case but couldn't justify $30 for it. I put a large non climbing carabiner on it and it works fine for the walk to the fields. There is a mesh pocket that runs under the chair side to side that is nice for phone and key storage. Water bottle fit but become a bit uncomfortable if they are hard sided. Also if they are going to leak or sweat it will soak into the chair material so be aware. Otherwise this was a pretty clever add that most chairs do not have. Material: Solid. Much more robust than the other chairs I am used to. All the metal is rigid and the few plastic parts are very high quality. I have no concerns of this breaking due to normal use anytime soon. Overall this chair is pretty sweet and super portable. I have also got one for my wife's car since she is almost as bad at bringing chairs along as I am. From kids sports to hunting, if you need a portable small chair that easy easy to pack and quick to set up and break down, this one is worth it.

2 year verdict: Youโre gonna love it.
I bought this 2 years ago, and Iโve used it a lot, and itโs pretty great. I keep it in a neoprene fire extinguisher holder strapped to the roll cage on my Jeep. Itโs always handy and ready when I open the back door. It gets dirty regularly and cleans up easily and quickly. I got a good deal on it, and would happily buy again, now that I know the quality means itโs probably lasting many more years. Setup: If you can open an umbrella, you can set up this chair. It goes from (large-ish/44oz) water-bottle-sized to fully assembled in about 5 seconds. No wrestling poles, no guessing what clips go where. Iโm not as talented and fancy as the guy flicking it open in the videos, but I can sit down pretty quickly ๐คฃ Portability: This thing travels easily in a backpack. Iโve taken it to ballgames, fire pits, parking-lot tailgates, Jeep trail rides, camping and even to the airport (TSA might be confused, but theyโll allow it!). Itโs sturdy but unbelievably compact โ the definition of grab-and-go. Comfort: For something this tiny, itโs shockingly solid. It feels like a โrealโ chair, not a tiny tripod or a gimmick. Iโm roughly 6โ and 250lbs, and it still feels stable with no wobble or โam I about to die?โ moments. Iโm not plopping down or standing quickly because itโs lower to the ground, and Iโve got old man knees. That said, my dog is really happy about the height- Iโm closer to her! Build Quality: The frame feels premium and durable, not like the cheap aluminum that dents when you look at it. The fabric is tight and supportive, and the whole chair gives off โbuy once, cry onceโ energy. As I mentioned, I did get this on sale and at the time I felt like it was a little pricey. After two years, I can definitely say it was worth every penny. Zero problems, zero dense scratches, breakage anything. Top quality build and design in my opinion. Where it shines: โข Camping & hiking โข Kidsโ sports โข Outdoor concerts โข Fire pits โข Random parking lots when you refuse to stand (Anyone wanna meet at Target parking lot later to wait on the wives?) โข Anywhere you need comfort without hauling a full-size chair If you want something lightweight, sturdy, and genuinely convenient โ this is the one.

Great Chair. Great customer service.
Bought this for my daughter's track season. Needed something very portable so she had something to sit on in the infield in between jumps, etc. The Cliq was perfect. 4 years later the middle section snapped. Took a picture of the broken piece and sent an email. Customer service immediately remedied the situation and sent a replacement chair. Always bet on companies with good customer service!

Great chair with 1 major design flaw.
This chair fills the hole in the market for those who want a very portable, lightweight, comfortable, convenient-to-set-up, rugged chair, but unfortunately has a serious design flaw (which I will fix). I have a regular, large camp chair with a cup holder, 4 can cooler, and pockets. Also a couple small tripod stools, and the slingback fabric roll chair from Mountainsmith. I almost purchased a Helinox (or similar), but didn't like the extra step of attaching the fabric, as easy as it may be. I wanted a single chair made with quality materials and as simple as possible to get set up. The Cliq is that chair. Pockets are often sacrificed on small chairs and I was happy to find the Cliq had pockets as well, hence the purchase. The pocket is the design flaw. The pocket is made as a pass through from one side to the other in an almost funnel shape - large at the tops and narrows as it passes under the seat. The somewhat stretchy fabric gets taught against your rear end when you sit down, there is little-to-no give (I am 170lbs). You have 2 layers of fabric under you, with the possibility of your stowed goods being sat on. Say you take a seat, put your phone or sunglasses in the pocket, get up, and when you sit back down, your items will have slid to the bottom of pocket and is now between the 2 layers of fabric. Maybe a phone could survive, but sunglasses wouldn't. For a chair this size, I am not expecting to hold a water bottle, or multiple cans - just small items normally found in pockets, and I'd like them not to all slide under the seat every time I get up. Why they did not sew the pockets closed about mid-way down the sides is beyond me. I plan to have mine sewn (or velcro'd) on each side to effectively stop any items from passing through to the bottom of the pocket. It may not look factory original, but will certainly be more useful.

Excellent compact chair
I frequently attend concerts at two venues that have lawn seating. Parking is not next to the seats. So a compact chair is a great way to go. Especially if you are going to stop at the brewery before the concert. This chair folds into a very compact, easy-to-carry cylinder. It fits into my large backpack with no issues and it has a ring that lets me attach it to my clear sling-pack for the concerts. For compactness, this is one of the best I have seen. And I have looked at a lot of options among my fellow lawn-sitters. Unfolded it is surprisingly sturdy for its size. The supports are solid and they lock firmly into place. The base locks into place firmly. The whole thing holds up a lot better than you'd expect if you were looking at it in its folded state. The minute you pick it up, you feel better as it is heavy enough that you get a sense of solidity, while still being light enough to be easy to carry. The one downside to this chair is that is just a little small for me. I am just over 6'1" and this chair is ok for me to sit in, but I am just slightly to long in the legs and torso for it. My weight falls in such a way that the chair either presses the back of my legs just under my butt and gradually cuts off the circulation, or I have to sit up, making it a bit unstable. On the flat lawn for the concerts, that is not a problem. If I were on uneven ground at a campsite, it would be. I don't use this at the beach where the sand is both uneven and soft. In any portable chair, you make trade-offs. The compactness of this chair makes it absolutely worth the minor issues with the sizing. Also, if you are 6' or shorter, you probably won't have these issues.

Broke in Less Than a Year, No Warranty Replacement Yet
UPDATE 10/28/25: I initially gave this product a 5 star review but have changed it to a 1 star. The item stopped working about 11 months after purchase: itwouldn't lock into place. I contacted their customer service because it was within their 1 year warranty period. I had about 5-6 back and forth emails with them: they kept asking for more details about what was wrong and then asked for photos and then asked for more photos which was very annoying. FINALLY after 2 weeks of back and forth they said they would send a replacement. Now after 3 weeks of waiting I have yet to receive a replacement. I contacted them a week and a half ago letting them know I didn't receive the replacement. They made the excuse that they're switching warehouses. Not sure that makes any sense because they said they're fulfilling the replacement from Amazon stock (which comes from an Amazon warehouse and doesn't require switching warehouses). I've been without a chair for nearly 2 months (it took me a couple weeks after it broke to reach out to them) and I kept delaying purchasing another chair because I thought this one would come soon. Obviously I was wrong and regret not purchasing a different chair because I haven't had one to sit in for all of my kid's sports games for the past 2 months. My advice is to buy a different, cheaper chair because this one doesn't last and their warranty is garbage. 10/2024 If you want something lightweight and compact then you should consider the Cliq. It folds up very small and is much, much, much lighter than those fold out camping chairs. I don't need something super comfortable for a long period of time, just needed a chair for hour long soccer games where I can stand for part of the time and sit for some of it when my legs want a break. I hate lugging those heavy, bulky camping chairs to and from the soccer field. Much easier to take a Cliq and it's very simple to setup. The chair is expensive but it was exactly what I was looking for, it fits all of my needs and I use it a lot so that justifies the higher price tag.

Amazing compact chair
To be fair, Iโve only had it for a few weeks. I was looking for a more compact camping chair for some upcoming car camping trips... I needed something more compact than Iโve had in the past. So, I bought one to see if it lived up to all the hype. After receiving it, I quickly put it through its paces. As a 6โ3โ 220 lb guy, I was skeptical that I would be comfortable or support me well. Although my shoulders arenโt supported very well in a semi-reclined position, it is extremely comfortable in a reclined position, with my feet propped up on something. Unlike my wife who can rest her head on the chair when reclined or my kids who can curl up comfortably in them, I always have to support my head...but Iโm used to that anyway. It is also sturdier than some of the other brands that have a tent-like frame. I can lean over to pick something up and although the chair flexes I donโt sense that it will break. Like any chair, it will eventually tip over, but I was surprised at just how far it would go. It is heavier than I would like, but Iโm not sure it could be any lighter and still be just as sturdy without being made of an extremely expensive material. We have yet to take them on the road, but we have watched hours of tv in it (to assess comfort) and enjoyed the nice weather outside (to assess them on rough ground) with no complaints. So, I think this is a perfect pick for car camping, sitting around a neighborhood fire pit, watching field sport games, or an impromptu gaming chair at home where weight isnโt a huge factor. At ~4lbs, it is heavy for a hiking chair, but some may want to trade the weight it costs for the sturdiness it provides. I bought three more to add to our collection.

3 years in the chair broke
Worked well but broke about a few months ago and to get it fixed is 50$ which i donโt know that i would wanna but more money into it. Set up is quick and very light. Quite comfortable and allowed me to sit what ever way i wanted. I miss the chair but im certain there are other chairs for half the price that do the same

Brilliant little chair
Great little chair, very convenient to carry around due to its small profile. Because of its build quality weighs a bit more than you expect for its size. Value for money, Iโm not sure about as very expensive compared to other compact chairs, but you can see and feel where your money has been spent. I will be purchasing another when price drops a bit. Iโd expect something in this price range to come with a carry bag but alas not so had to purchase an after market one for ยฃ10. I would recommend this chair as it is very comfortable to sit in and extremely easy to erect and pack away again. Great little chair๐
