LAURA GELLER Kajal Longwear Kohl Eyeliner Pencil – Deep Black

I love this liner - some shades are great for brows as well. This is easy to smudge for a soft look when you first apply it (like for brows) and becomes very stable in minutes. I intentionally wear this when my dry eyes are really dry. Somehow it keeps them more lubricated than without! Sometimes I even add more before I go to bed on days when my eyes are really irritated. When I bought this for the first time, I also bought two other liners from two different manufacturers and those two really dry and irritate my eyes - wore them a few times -probably have to throw them out- so this brand has become my go to liner. At age 60 I can say I’ve never had a more comfortable liner that feels better on than off. Couple of people complained this doesn’t make a fine line - this is a smoky look as advertised and by nature indicates a soft and smudgy result. If you like super fine lines, this may not be for you - this will not make a cat eye! I love the colors - they are different from the run of the mill and look great on. The colors are more tame than the photos which likely were enhanced so one can see the pigment better but easy to layer to get a richer effect.

I have the Laura Geller Kohl pencils in Olive and Dark Brown. The pencils themselves are creamy and highly pigmented with beautiful dimension (shimmery sheen and fine golden glitters). They feel high quality and easy to use, and they set quickly and don't smudge or budge. They're water resistant and need makeup remover to take off, so they last all day. I was surprised that I love Dark Brown more than Olive. The Dark Brown is rich and flattering, and the gold flecks look great with my green eyes. The Olive turns very gray on me, though. I was hoping that Olive would have a green tone to it, but it doesn't really. It's more gray and gold, like a stone shade. I love the formula of these and the Dark Brown shade, though.

I am 73 years old and I still wear makeup and fragrance. I first ordered this Laura Geller soft eye liner pencil because it was the perfect color, "Smoky Plum Kohl" that I was looking for. When I received it, I thought it might be a bit thick. But when I applied it on my eyelids, the line was thicker than what I was used to, but it was exactly what I wanted and needed! The color is gorgeous, the line was a perfect thickness for me, and the way it looked on me was beyond my expectations! I ordered another one right away, and I use it every day. It is a regular part of my makeup routine! Others may not want a thicker eye pencil line, but it is perfect for me. And the "Smoky Plum Kohl" color is PERFECT for my light skin color and light hair. But this color would look perfectly lovely on younger women as well because it is a "cool" color, so it's beautiful for most skin tones. The color was #1 for me. But the next best thing was the longevity! It stays on all day! I LOVE it!

Love the eyeliner. I’d give it 5 stars but it was to wide. Didn’t last long either. Needs to be thinner and last longer bc it stays on great!! And does not smudge!! Will order again if I can find it thinner

This pencil in shade dark brown kohl is my single most used item! I use it every day whether I’m wearing it to layer over with other shades for a rocker look, or all by itself for a natural look. It’s a soft texture which glides really nicely and then, best part, dries very fast to a no-smudge consistency! It has really good color payoff so it could be the only color you need for a Smokey look but if you use a lighter hand, you can get it to look more bronze than brown. I absolutely love this pencil!! Hope they don’t discontinue

These liners are WAY too wide to use successfully as an eye liner. And the sharpeners that come with them aren't much of a help. Very disappointing. The colors are beautiful, but they work much better as a shadow than a liner. Will not purchase again.

This Laura Gellar Eyeliner is the best of thee best Eyeliner’s Ever !!! I have sensitive eyes and have to be careful of most eyeliner’s, but Laura Gellar Eyeliner’s don’t cake up or make my eyes tear !!! I love the fact that when you put it on it glides on, and stays where you put it until you want to take it off lol. So if your looking for a fabulous Eyeliner that comes in many beautiful colors..try Laura Gellar you’ll be hooked !!!

After using Laura Geller kohl pencil, I find the Smoky Amethyst to be more brown in color to my eye. I was hoping that when using, the squat point would be helpful (the top of pencil resembles a Hershey kiss). When using on the eyelid, it is too thick and difficult to get a narrower line. I was able to sharpen, but of course, removes a lot of pencil ($$$). It is very creamy and color goes on easily. I do notice some fading after time. I do think this is a nice eyeliner pencil but is not working for me.

This is the best eyeliner ever! I trialled and errored about 4 others in the last few years. I wanted one that stays on all day. It is a bit more expensive but so worth it when it stays on all day. I like the thick nib and that it glides on and it has a fab range of colours.
