Simple and secure — great for everyday locking
This lock is perfect for securing gym lockers, luggage, or backpacks. The code system is easy to set and reliable. It feels sturdy and compact, ideal for daily use. A great alternative to keyed locks — no more worrying about losing keys.

Great for skis and scooters
It's easy to change the combination. They remove easily. I use them for low security situations but they are pretty tough. I use them for electric scooters and I really like them for skis at questionable resorts because you can lock them to the communal rack during a long lunch by the parking lot and nobody is going to try to cut it off at a place like that. It is nice and secure with a steel band going through the plastic band so really would be a pain to hack through, but I only use it for light security jobs.

Basic lock that works well for a few things
I thought these would be more useful than they are. My plan was to loop it on my road bike and use it for roadside emergencies and urgencies. It's not strong enough to secure an expensive bike but likely strong enough to give you a couple minutes in a port-a-pottie. The primary limitation is that they are quite stiff. This makes them hang awkwardly on my bike. I sort of got around that by putting a zip tie on the end (which otherwise sticks out). A cool beans use is to provide extra security on my bike carrier. It works like a locking bungee cord.

Small with combination.
Good enough to run into the store and perfect for securing a front wheel to be used with a bigger lock.

Casing Cracked Immediately & Unsecure
Immediately upon handling the lock in the process of programming the lock code the plastic shell cracked, almost like the plastic isn't bendable enough. Very strange. I returned it as I don't want a lock that's just gonna rust - I planned on using it in the outdoors to lock a scooter. Also, the lock mechanism is stiff and not easy to turn and that's not gonna work for my tween who is often in a rush to get on his scooter and go. By the way, side note, go to Youtube and you'll find instructions on how to easily crack the code on these zip-tie locks: maybe not an issue if you're just looking for a bit of security, but I think I'd rather find something that's secure and easy to use on a scooter, if there's such a lock.

Easy to use, lightweight.
Not going to deter a pair of bolt cutters but then what will? Easy to use and will do the job if you are just in the store for a min.

Dials are difficult to turn
First I will say these will do the job, however they are not easy to maneuver. They are a bit harder to flex which isn't necessarily a bad thing but might not be right for some. They do seem like they are made well although I just received and haven't been able to test them properly. The instructions were pretty strait forward.Overall for the price they do what is needed the biggest complaint for me is turning the dials are difficult, I will be returning.

Convenient, easy to use
How have I lived without this thing for so long?!?! I used it today for the first time to loop around both my helmet and my da brim sun protection thing (total cost $170) and it was so easy and I felt very safe leaving both of them on my bike with this lock. I felt the combination lock would be a lot easier than trying to keep up with a tiny key which other versions have.No longer carrying my helmet around when I am wandering through downtown is so much easier and more pleasant. This is honestly the most useful thing I’ve bought in months, maybe years.
