Fresh Whole Yuca Root Cassava Manioc Mandioca (5lb)

I was concerned after having read a review stating that rotten tubers were received. Now I am certain that if so, it was probably the shipping procedures after the product left this company. My tubers were fresh and moist inside. The taste is like potato with a slight hint of sweet. I also boiled and mashed as like potato with butter, milk, salt and pepper. I defy anyone to make a distinction. Additionally, my order arrived 5 days early.

Unfortunately, I live in an area that I can't find Cuban produce so this was very much wanted and I couldn't believe thagt I found it here on Amazon! Great product! Thank You!!!

I really don't understand why amazone allow food like this to be able to see..knowing it can arrive bad ..I would never again buy food like this online..it has a strong smell even cooking it..it still smell strong...I m a pacific islander n I know how it should smell ..very very bad..n it's still hard after cooking for almost an hour😡

i had a problem with the first order i let the seller knows and the product resend and was perfect exactly how they are supposed to be root vegetable cassava roots or yucca

I was so excited to have this option because we live in the middle of nowhere and can't find things like this in the local stores. But out of seven roots, two arrived too moldy to use! I appreciated the porous paper wadded around them- I'm sure it helped prevent worse spoilage. But it wasn't enough. I will likely try another order in the fall when heat isn't such a big factor. Perhaps they could ship it with a bit of dry ice to keep it cool, or with some of those silica gel packs like are used to keep vitamins dry... but the extra expense of that... vs having to throw out 2/7 of the roots at the current price... I guess the per-edible-yuca price is best the way things are. I've only had yuca a couple times before so I'm not an expert judge of whether these (the ones I was able to eat) were especially good or not, but I enjoyed them a lot.

Always comes with like 1/3 to 1/2 rotten but I don’t use much anyways. Can’t get it anywhere else so I don’t mind.

This is bad product they sent me bad Stuff i paid right but it’s bad rotten they came.

This was not good some of the pieces were to small so only half the pkg was useful so for the money horrible deal
