Meekoo Float Ball Valve 1/2 Inch Autofill Float Valve

I use this in my pond outside in my backyard for my water. Was exactly what I needed shipped in a great amount of time and packaged well. I still have three more in case I need it in case the other part breaks again which is also nice.

These things are plastic and therefore are easy to break. In the past I would have to turn off the water supply and keep the pool filled by hand until I could get to the pool supply and buy another one. These came in a 4 pack so if one gets broken li have to do is take out another one and screw it into the supply pipe and we're up and running again. Perfect size and when I installed it the pool was full and it didn't leak. Now there's a steady trickle keeping the pool full.

These valves are pretty easy to adapt to most buckets, drill a hole use some caulk to seal it in, then use a compression female 1/2 NPS adapter to get a leak free connection (note should not be using tape or dope on the threads they are straight. Keep in mind while they have a fairly large connection at 1/2 the flow rate is quite low in comparison. These are meant to top things off but to get a decent GPM out of them you may need to connect two or more with a Y. Have had a few damaged where the float gets hit and snapped but not much to do about that.

A great compact valve. It is all plastic except for the stainless cotter pin. Replacement was perfect.

Product is as advertised, a good working and cheap float valve that can handle low pressure systems, my pack came with 5 good and one oddly not even the same product hence the low rating. The odd valve functions differently and was broken in the package

The float valve 4 pack worked great for the project I had. The value screwed right through the 5 gallon bucket with a 7/8 inch hole drilled in it. Now all I do is fill the 32 gallon container once a week and all the chickens have an unlimited supply of automatic water. There are no leaks. other parts were needed like nipple water kit, washing hose (with 2 female ends), a 1/2 npt female to a 3/4 hose male adapter and a shut off valve. All of these were super cheap or already on hand.

Needed a good quality float for an automatic watering system I was building for my rabbitry. Decided to go with this one and glad I did. I paired it with a Gilmore brand fitting to convert to a water hose attachment. I used a translucent bucket and pvc fittings which were all bought from my local HD. If you plan to use this style float for a watering system, know that a really large animal would need a large water container for this float to replenish the water fast enough. It.has a fairly slow fill rate. I am using it with 16 rabbit cages with zero issues. The hole can be drilled in the bucket easily with a 3/4" hole saw. I used premium silicone between the bucket and fittings to insure a leak proof job. I also used 400 grit scotch pad to scuff the plastic so the silicone would stick better but that's not totally necessary. Would buy it again

On my outdoor fountain, I awoke to a flooded backyard. The ball valve, despite an overfilled foutain from the rain, broke. The arm was up but kept flowing and it ran for hours. It's broken internally and missing a part that stops the water flow as the arm and ball are still attached. I removed it and when I blew through the device, it blows despite any movement of the arm which should make it flow on and off. I have the second one (if you blow into it, it shuts off if you lift the arm), but I won't trust it so I've installed it but will replace with another one. My was from China, X00273KK0T M0786 5.12 is what the packaging has on it.
