What happens if my cat eats a baited mouse

I looked it up and the question is answered here:http://www.domyownpestcontrol.com/contrac-blox-rodenticide-questions-pq-80.htmlBasic summary, mice eat very little of the poison. Therefore a cat would have to eat 20+ of such mice to have an issue. And they go into further detail.

Does this product lose potency over time? How long is the shelf life before you need to buy new poison?

We buy a bucket about every year works great!

can we purchase 'one' 4lb pail? instead of 4? one of these lasted me several years previously i don't want them to go bad.
