DAP Liquid Cement Crack Filler (Ready to Use), Gray, 32 Oz (7079837584)

I was doing some repairs by my garage and this worked great. After cleaning out the debris and dirt, this filled those cracks and made the driveway look better. It was pretty set within 90 minutes. And that night we had downpour of rain and it sealed well and held up great. Very happy with this item.

This is easy to use and dried quickly. I think it looks good, I’ll have to see how it holds up over time. So far so good.

I would say it’s a pretty good product and the price is fair. Goes a long way. The setting/drying time is misleading. Takes a good 24-36 hours to solidify.

Just shake the bottle well and pour into the crack, level it if need be. Mist with water and let dry completely. If the repair is outside, check the weather forecast for no rain for at least 24 hours.

So I bought this product to fill in a large gaping crack I had in my concrete patio. The consistency of this product is perfect - not too thick, and just runny enough to get into those deep, hard to reach places. I even bought a syringe set to fill in the hairline cracks I knew would eventually get worse over time - it worked like a charm! This does dry down light grey, but it looks smooth and professionally done! Otherwise, this product can get a bit messy depending on what you’re using it for, but just make sure to wear gloves if that’s the case. It Isn’t a huge concern if you get this product on your hands, since it is silicone based and rubs right off once dry. I highly recommend this product!

I was going to use outdoor silicone for my concrete driveway gaps, but decided to give three bottles of this a whirl. This Dap product has the advantage of being super thin when it comes out of the bottle tip (unlike silicone, which is thick) so that I can use this for finer cracks and it works itself down in there. That said, for some reason, it doesn't seem to fill the cracks well. I have sections of 1/8 to 1/4 inch cracks that I have gone over three times with this Dap juice, and it still has gaps in the crack. Agains, it's the seepage downward that is the key, and perhaps it's fine. I plan to use this for the deeper part of the cracks (it says on the bottle not to use for cracks greater than 1/2 inch wide). a couple of passes, and then clear silicone over the top of the crack with silicone canister and caulk gun. This stuff does dry in a few minutes. I can see why Amazon reviewers have mentioned that it was hard when they got it. I bought mine at a building store, so those are the three I used. I have another three from Amazon that sound good when I shake the bottle, but I will tell when I open it. You will use the entire bottle because you cannot cover it and save it, even for a half hour. So, just plan on using the entire thing before it hardens. Also, when you razor off the tip, make it smaller than you would a caulk cartridge of bathroom caulk or silicone. Why? The juice in here is thin, and I cut it too wide and it basically poured all over the edges of the cracks. Since it's thin, a small opening would have been better. Update: These Amazon bottles do not have any seal on the top. The ones I bought from a large home box store has seals inside the spout, sort of like builders' caulk or inside a new catsup bottle. Well, these were just open once one unscrews the spout top. Mine worked well, but I believe it to be slightly thicker than the ones from the home store, perhaps from being exposed to air to some degree. Amazon raised the price of these and they are more expensive than the home store by more than a buck (but there's no sales tax here). I would suggest either buying locally so you can assure freshness by shaking it to see if it's liquid and not hard and by unscrewing the spout to see if it is sealed, or buying exactly what you can use from Amazon, not a bottle more (and returning it if it's hardened already). You can always buy more, but this stuff is not going to store well.

I ordered this and several other brands. I used this one first and am waiting to see how it holds up. I had a crack in my Pool Deck. Although it does not match I could care less, the crack is filled and shouldn't continue to get wider and longer. I loved the way this poured out of the container and it does come out fast so be mindful. However after several days I noticed this is hard as a rock and should stop the crack from doing more damage to my pool decking. No need for a Gun to squirt the liquid out and I used a paper towel to make the filler look like the pool decking. It is nice stuff and probably saved me a fortune by not having a professional come out here to fill in the crack probably using this or something similar. It is a life saver I saw on YouTube some pool deck cracks that were frightful and I am hopeful that this will continue to stop the crack and hold together well. I did go over the crack twice, once the first day and on the second day I could see where the filler had settled in so I went over the crack a second time. It seems to do the job and for that I am very pleased. Before you call out a repair company you really should consider using this product. I would buy it again if i need it, however there is a lot in this bottle and I have plenty left over just incase. Highly recommend product. Mind you it will not be the same color as your Pool Deck, but it can save you a fortune. I can always paint over the Deck because it is the same color as my house and i do have the paint for that, so I will paint over the crack and fixed it myself. It is really a good product and like I said dries fast and hard as a rock. My husband passed away several years ago so I am left to my own devices when it comes to repairs, I do like this product and like I said I would buy it again. Nothing could be easier to work with. It flows out of the bottle very nicely and you don't have to fight with a tube to get the product out of the bottle. Donna Fuller

This crack filler really does a great job of sealing the cracks and preventing water damage from freeze/thaw. The color blends in after a couple of years. For deep holes or cracks it shrinks a bit when it dries and I needed to fill two or three times until the surface dried smooth to the concrete.

Buen producto. Funciono donde un sellador no. No tan estetico pero funciono con lluvias pesadas en techo.
