Very Fun!
A very fun and competitive game! My friends and I are very passionate when it comes to winning, and this game is perfect. You essentially argue against each other to convince the judge that your answer to the question judge gave is correct. Whoever convinces the judge receives points.

Fun and funny game; especially after a few beverages
It's hilarious watching people come up with some far-fetched reason behind why they know this particular fact. And then, to find out that they were right!

Fun but lacking score sheet
I got this game because we watched the show BS on Netflix and have been waiting for a game to come out like it. It’s a little different, but the jist is to lie to everyone to make them think you know the correct answer to the question. You don’t really have to know the actual answer, you get points for getting the answer correct but the point is to TRICK the judge into thinking you know the answer, whether you actually do or not. One thing that’s missing is a score sheet. The box is so tiny that there’s no room for scoring paper, so it’s annoying that we have to do it ourselves. I would like it to come with a board or dry erase scoring sheet. The cards are single sided, they should’ve been double sided for sure. I hate when games miss the mark on providing a lot of cards because they choose not to utilize BOTH sides of the cards. Technically you can ask any trivia question you want, it doesn’t have to be on the cards, but I wish they were double sided so we had a lot more questions. Overall we were cracking up the whole time listening to people’s lies and calling them BSers. Just wish there was a score sheet & double sided cards.

Great game for families with teens
We are not normally a "game night" type of family, mostly because it is hard for us to find a game that both of my teens and husband will like. We avoided trivia games because only half of us are good at that. But with this game, even the two of us that are horrible at trivia have a shot! The small size made it easy to pack for a trip to the beach. Great game, def recommend!

Unclear rules
The rules were very weird and complicated but it was fun trying to bs each other. Bought this as a gag gift for my parents. One is a trivia expert and one tells tall tales.

So much fun!!!
We have a gaming group of 6-8 of us that meets once a month. This game is hysterical and worth every penny. We tell such tall tales to try to win, whether we know the answer or not. I wasn’t sure if this when I bought it but it is worth every penny and so much fun with a group.

Very fun and addicting
Although we had some initial issues figuring out the scoring system, once we started playing it was a blast! I don't know if we actually ever got the scoring how it was intended to be, but I guess you just make a plan and stick to it and it works out. I recently bought Monikers for another friend, and after we all played this game we agreed it was a lot more fun and you needed to be less up on current events and social media stuff. We are all 50sih, so some of the Monikers stuff was over our heads. But Brilliant or BS was a perfect game night with drinks activity. We laughed so hard!! Played til about midnight (way past our bedtime...haha). Highly recommend.

Pretend to be an expert or bluff without saying specifically what it is you’re talking about
Good for a group of three or more. Works best with larger parties, especially if people are breaking the ice. It does work with old friends but the BS element is easier to call the better you know the players. A bit of trivia and tomfoolery. Have fun. I’m going to pick up some expansions for this game.

This game is tons of fun to play with people of all ages.

Yeah it's ok for what it is. The questions aren't exactly Trivial Pursuit Genius edition or even the Baby Boomers edition. Maybe I didn't look through the pack long enough. It was basically just an extra deck to add to the trivia questions that come with the Hot Ones Last Dab trivia game. They're fine for what they are but nothing complex or mentally demanding in my opinion. Perhaps a brainbusters edition would be a good idea.

Love the questions but playing by the instructions is very arduous. We use the cards but have our own rules
