Traxxas 2917 Dual Charging Adapter for 2S LiPO Batteries, 401-Pack

Has a simple job to do and does it well. I have this hooked up to my Traxxas EZ Peak Plus charger. The charge with this adapter will charge my two LIPO 2S 5800 ma batteries in about 50 minutes. I recomend this setup for anybody that runs LIPO.

I got this thinking it would cut our charge times in half when I was charging 2, 2s lipos...It did not...It took forever. I called Traxxas and the cool dude over there explained to me that if I was running 2, 2s lipos in one car at the same time and the batteries were drained evenly that it would indeed charge them faster. BUT I run 1, 2s lipo in 2 Rustlers. They are never drained equally..I have one in my truck and one in my sons. Sometimes they are close but never exact. Since they are not close and I am balance charging the charger thinks it is charging 1, 4s lipo and that it is way out of balance hence the super long charge times. NOW that being said, if you put both batteries in storage mode doing one at a time they will get really close in charge. Then you can throw them both on this contraption and charge them at a decent speed. I honestly haven't used it more than 3 times. I assumed I could throw 2 batteries on there whenever and it would charge them faster...THIS NOT THE CASE. So it just stays put up most of the time. Its your call but you need to know this before you drop money on this.Be very clear that no matter what size battery or how many cells you have the 2 batteries must be drained equally for this thing to be effective. If they are not even close then don't waste your time. You will double your charge times.

If you have a Traxxas car or truck that takes two 2S Lipo batteries, then this is a must for you. Cuts charging time by half. I love it!This is a series adapter if you are wondering about that, so you need to double your voltage during charging. One 2S lipo is usually 7.4V so you set your charger to 14.8V when charging 2S lipos with this adapter. I hope this helps you guys out there

I use it on my EZ-Peak Plus and it does what t claims. I set the charger on 4s LiPo and I can charge 2 2s batteries at the same time. Definitely worth purchasing.

I wonder why you need to use the charging plugs along with the other plug to charge with this as most other chargers I have seen do not require this. It works as intended, although I wish you didn't have to but an extra adapter to charge a second battery simultaneously.

Useless unless you have one of the old style Traxxas charger. My Traxxas charger doesn't have any way to plug the red and black cable's into the charger itself. In my opinion, it should not even be offered for sale anywhere because most people have the new Traxxas ez-peak ID charger's.

It works just fine.dont really use it though,seems to take a long time to charge 2 battery's at once with traxxas charger.

simple to follow instructions. IF you take the time to read them. this little bugger saves me a LOT of time.NOTE: it only works with the traxxas EZ Peak PLUS charger.

Great product. Work perfectly. It is a must to any owner of dual lipo battery car such as E-Revo. It is not meant to be use to charge 2 batteries that are not used at the same time. Basically it is meant to charge 2x2s batteries as a single 4s, not 2x2s being used separately as 2s batteries.
