Can this go round the saddle pole as well?

Yes it can. I have used it round the headstock and upper frame as per pic but also round the seat post and upper frame. I prefer the seat post position. However I have also just purchased the Rockbros saddle bag and Sam get everything I have in the frame bag into the saddle bag and this looks and fits better than the frame bag. Both are good options! Will this fit a wider frame of an ebike?

It's held on with velcro straps which are very long so I imagine it might but depends how thick the frame is

How high does this sit above the bike frame at the front? more than 8cm? i have a quad lock phone mount and want to know it will fit under my iphone x

I also have a quad lock bike holder. Mine is placed on the handlebar up tube and the bag doesn’t affect it in any way. Hope that helps.
