Easy to use.
Easy to use thanks to the nicely weighted morter and pestle and the no- slip base. Good appearance. And I appreciate that it includes a cover with hole in the center (that the pestle pokes through) which keeps the dust out.

Perfect Heavy Mortar and Pestle
I don't leave many reviews but I got this Mortar and Pestle Set yesterday and it is so nice so had to leave a review. It is heavy so does not slip and around easy to hold with the pedestal. The perfect size for me I am using it to crush the dog’s pills. So glad I purchased this one brushes out clean and crushes the bigger pills with no trouble at all. You wont be disappointed if you choose this one its perfect in my opinion

Excellent for basic needs
At this price point, I wasn't really expecting much - I just liked that it had a plastic lid, and that it was made of metal, since the majority of the non-metal ones in the low price range all had reviews about the bowl breaking relatively easily. Size was what I expected - I got a bit worried bc several reviews mentioned it was bigger than expected, but I didn't think it was- it's exactly how I imagined, a small but decent size, for personal use or cooking for 3-4 people. You can probably fit a cup of two of liquid in the bowl, to give you an idea of the scale. It's not super heavy but it has enough weight to it that it's not going to go flying if you use pressure when grinding. It was surprisingly efficient for my needs: cooking stuff is a breeze. The biggest "test" of it's strength was when I needed to break down small, hard, pebbly pieces of mineral, to pulverise into powder. It did the job. Grinding works better than brute force or hammering the larger pieces, and I was able to pulverise it into a very fine powder relatively fast, just by grinding the pestle around. There is a small rubber ring for gripping to the counter. The lid was nice for keeping things from flying everywhere, but it does limit your range of motion when you start out, and blocks your view of the progress, so I took it off. Eventually , the opening will start to break on the lid, so use it for grinding with the lid on minimally. The only complaint I have is that I lost a significant amount of the powder to the tip of the pestle, and the mortar bowl. I tried to remove the powder stuck to the bowl and pestle with a small paint brush, then a new make-up brush for loose powder, and finally my finger. None of them really did a good job of this. Oddly, given the sticking, it cleans very easily - I wiped the inside out with a wet paper towel, which instantly removed the powder stuck to it, and then washed it like any other kitchen device. I'm not sure why the powder sticks and assume it just is a combination of the viscosity of the material you're grinding, and perhaps some kind of texture to the surface that is microscopic and not visible to the average eye. Overall, a great little buy- perfect for seeds, nuts, plants, mineral powders- but on a small scale (I ended up with about 20 grams of pulverised powder, and there was still plenty of room - you could safely grind up to 40 grams of final powder output, without it being overfull. It's easier to do it in smaller increments though, so I would say 20 grams at a time, max, to make sure you get a good result (no chunky pieces) and so you don't have any spillage issues). The only thing I *wouldn't* suggest it for is small pills or when you're using small amounts where every bit counts of whatever, bc you*will* lose some to the sides of the bowl and pestle. For example, it's a breeze to grind pills and medication, but if you're grinding a 20mg pill and you have to dose your pets with a very specific amount, it might not be the best solution, since your going to lose valuable medicine, and it's such a small amount that there's a cost loss factor. Perhaps a stiffer brush would remedy the issue; the brushes on my paint brush and new make up brush were not particularly firm. Otherwise, 5 stars. You can't beat the price, either.

Happy with my purchase
Happy with my purchase. There were several similar stainless steel mortar and pestles available, I chose this one based on previous reviews and because I prefer products that aren't stamped noticeably with logos or the manufacturers name. This arrived timely (amazon prime) and well packaged. The pestle does have a small scratch/black mark, likely something that occurred in manufacturing, while I know amazon would have taken it back for an exchange I decided it didn't matter but it is reflected in my review. It would have been 5 stars had it arrived in perfect condition. I like the look of stainless steel but the real reason I opted for it rather than stone or wood is that it is nonporous, will not absorb any odors, chemicals (from medications) or colors. When cleaned between uses it is completely clean whereas even a slightly porous surface material can potentially absorb odors, chemicals or colors from the various items I intend to crush. I plan to use this to grind and blend cosmetics, crush hard to swallow medications and possibly in minor food preparation. It would like fit no more than 1 large avocado at a time. The stainless steel surface makes it very easy to empty completely and cleaning has been very easy as well. It's weighty but not too heavy and the rubber base helps secure it to my granite countertop when I use it. Overall, very happy. Update: After a few uses I noticed the damaged area on the pestle rubbed my hand and caused discomfort. I returned it and ordered another, no problems.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent Stainless Steel Pestle and Mortar!
I’m really impressed with this pestle and mortar. The stainless steel design is sturdy, sleek, and easy to clean. It worked flawlessly when I used it—crushed and ground everything smoothly without any slipping or mess. I especially love that it comes with a lid, which keeps everything inside the bowl and prevents ingredients from spilling out. It’s a simple feature that makes a big difference. Highly recommend this if you want a durable, practical, and well-designed mortar and pestle!

Looks good, works fine, nice price.
No complaints. Package delivered on time and in great condition. Original box plus shipping box. The mortar and pestle look great, heavy hunks of stainless steel. Looks fine on the counter. Works well for my needs, crushing small amounts of dried herbs. Just the right size, didn't need anything larger. Going to give a couple as gifts so I guess you can count that as a recommendation.

Bekith mortar and pestle
I impressed with this. It is a little less than 4 in in diameter and a little more than 3 in high. The mortar seems like it is solid and is about 1/4 in thick at the top and it gets thicker toward the base. It is attached to the base somehow, I can't tell how. The base also feels very solid but there is a thin stainless steel cover over the base bottom and a foam rubber ring to resist slipping. The mortar weighs 20.05 Oz and the pestle weighs 4.85 Oz. There are no seams on the pestle and it feels sturdy, although I think it is hollow. The radius of the working end of the pestle is smaller than the radius of the interior of the mortar, so the pestle can reach the entire surface. It should outlast me. The capacity of the mortar is about 7 fluid oz.

Very useful and beautiful product
Could keep it in the kitchen counter itself due to the size, easily washable, due to the sturdiness of the product able to pound /mash/powder easily. Anyone who comes into the kitchen says it looks so beautiful. Very happy with the product though a bit expensive
