Not just for cookies! My wife and I volunteer at the USO, which involves making 50-75 PB&J sandwiches every 4 hour shift. A rounded scoop from this exemplary tool plops the exact amount of PB needed onto the bread, then a quick swipe left, swipe right, and you're done. Saves at least half the time it used to take with a butter knife. The extended length allows you to get to the bottom of the jar without getting PB all over yourself. Oh, and it works perfectly for cookies, too!

I have always hated making cookies. Too hard to get the same size and cookie scoops were literally a pain. I thought I would give this one a shot and whoa! I was able to whip out 30 dozen cookies without pain. THe handle is comfotable for this left handed woman. I now enjoy making cookies.

I was a bit worried about the plastic pre-tensioned handle providing the spring return of the wipers on these scoops. I needn't have been. They are plenty beefy and give the impression that they will last a long time. These scoops are dishwasher safe and have zero problem surviving constant cycles through our Bosch. I use them to portion everything from ice cream to meatballs. They make serving scoopable foods much less messy and easier to control in terms of portion size. They are just all-around useful tools to have in the kitchen and the only thing I regret is waiting so long to get some for our house. Just be sure you understand that I am talking about the Zeroll spring-loaded portion scoops and NOT their specialty ice-cream scoop. That device has a liquid embedded inside and cannot be run through the dishwasher. These guys are all dishwasher safe

I make muffins almost weekly and decided to finally get a scoop. Kicking myself for not doing this sooner. This is made it super fast and so much less messy.

I’ve bought 3 of these now. Two didn’t work, the bail that is suppose to release the dough doesn’t fit into,the scoop close enough and it won’t release the dough. I use these for cookies and I have returned it for a full refund. The problem is I really need this.

This makes it easier to make cookies! I was about to buy a different brand, but my friend recommended this explaining the other design would make my hand tired. I never tried the other brands, but I can say this is ergonomic and extremely easy to use.
