Setting up a Floyd Rose Trem is and of itself a challenge to put it mildly. Once you do get it setup properly (if you're lucky enough to get to that point) then you have the micro tuners which do work for a while depending on the humidity and temperature you're in. Then you have to start making adjustments to the strings after you've bottomed out your micro tuners which is where these come in handy! Also makes it easier for individual string changes which anyone that has a Floyd Rose can attest to is an adventure if you don't have a hex key handy. For what they do and ease of convenience they're priced well. Having them on the back of your headstock makes them super accessible on the fly. I have four Floyd Rose guitars so this worked perfectly for me. While the Floyd Rose can be complicated more than a fixed bridge, having that excellent tremolo range and the effects it creates IMO is worth the trade-off. These Hex Hider Magnetic 3mm Allen Key wrenches sell themselves. And even if you don't have 4 Floyd Rose guitars having extras handy is worth it too.

Nice to have a wrench handy to unlock the string clamps on a locking trem system. A powerful magnet holds it to a tuner.

Should have bought one years ago, easy way to have a hex handy and the magnet works good.

Amazing tool. Effective, compact, there when you need it. The magnet is strong enough, that it keeps in place for normal playing. If you have a Floyd you need this. It saves so much time re-tuning. I have 3 of these things and use them all the time.

Bottom line first: If you have a compatible Floyd Rose or similar style trem system, just go ahead and get one -- or one for every guitar, since right now they're only $10, or less than that if you buy multiple.This product does what it is supposed to. For me, the critical element is the convenience and ease -- The magnet snaps it right to the back of the tuner, so no screws or glue/tape; you can take it off and put it on without looking, another advantage over wrench holders.It seems to stay on without issue. I say this not having played it "out" and moving around a lot, so I don't know if it might ever fall off, but for playing at home and moving around like normal, I've had no problem.On longevity/durability, I can't say, I have only actually used it a couple of times, though it's been on the guitar since I got it. I'll give it 4 stars until I see more on that; if it lasts near the life of a normal wrench, then it will be a 5-star item.If I had to find something to criticize, I would say t's a little small; I know it has to be, but I feel like it could have been a bit larger and still been able to hide on the headstock while being more comfortable for larger hands. But that's really minor.Overall, I think the price is well worth it knowing you won't have to play Wrench Hunt when you just want to play.

This is perfect for guitars with 3mm tuner locking.I only wish which it came in other sizes like 4mm and 5mm.

Just buy them and be done! These are great and the magnet holds!
