AirVANTAGE Random Orbit Sander Low-Profile Backing/Replacement Pad (6" Hook and Loop)

Needed this, as my DA came with the stick-on type pad, and my shop uses hook&loop. I've only put less than an hour's time on it, but it does a good job.

My husband uses these and needed replacements, glad Amazon had the right size.

Was expecting yellow in color, but got red. No worries, goes well with my 3M sander better. Thread pattern was perfect for it, and I prefer the low profile. Would definitely be buying another for my 3/16 swirl.

Service was above and beyond anything I have previously experienced. When the sander malfunctioned the seller immediately responded by sending me a spare sander at no cost to use while my sander was being repaired (and I got to keep the spare!!). A return shipping label was included in the box with the spare sander to return the malfunctioning sander free of charge for repairs. The repaired sander was returned promptly and functioned perfectly. The sander is very light and handy with plenty of power and very smooth function. Coming from a bad experience (continuous failures) with one of the big name brushless sanders I am especially impressed with this sander.

The sanding pad works as expected. Great dust collection with it.

It has held very well so far, I do a lot of constant sanding and the vinyl face is still perfect. The problem I had with previous pad is that the vinyl face would ripped with the sand paper after so many uses. That is not cost effective for business use and is annoying. I am sticking to this product until is no longer available or it be comes better.

Good balance, no wobble. Using it in a glass shop so I’ll update after we run a box of sanding discs with it.Only con so far is that it’s made in Taiwan not USA as shown in the picture.
