Using these to run from a Pelican PL-970 manual switch to a RetroTink 5x. I wanted the run to be short since the switch is a not powered and you don't want to add unnecessary length to the chain.The 5 cables here are taped together and for some reason, they split the L and R red and white audio cables to either side of the bundle. It just makes it annoying to hook up to the Tink and the switchbox.To combat this, I just cut the electrical tape that was holding all of these together and pulled all of the cables completely apart. If you are running them straight you probably dont need to do this, but if you need them to bend at all, you're going to want to separate them and to flex them out a little.The cables provide a clean image with no brightness loss.They are only 18 inches and shielded so I understand them being a little inflexible, but the L/R audio separation is a pretty weird design. Like I said, remove them tape and pull the wires apart and you're good to go.

Yes the wires are stiff and I honestly don’t know why they placed the audio R/W on opposite sides but there is an easy remedy. See my picture and notice I pulled the audio wires apart because everyone knows on any audio/video equipment these are next to each other, not opposite. Why the wire is a flat setup is beyond me but that’s not a big deal by any means. I also pulled about 6” of the RGB apart to add more flexibility when connecting to an Amazon recommended component switch. Now it works perfectly. The cable is already high quality so I have no issues with that, it’s just the ribbon style along with being very stiff makes it difficult to move around being I got the 18” version. When you pull them apart, the quality doesn’t change but you get more freedom to move the wires around as you need. It doesn’t damage them in any way. Just grab the wire and pull down as much as you need. You can separate them completely if you need to do so. Get a longer cable and you’ll get more flexibility but don’t get any longer than you need. You don’t want signal degradation. Anyways, great product just follow what I did and it works even better. I haven’t noticed any quality difference by added this to my gaming capture setup. Good price for the quality as well. The RCA ends weren’t too tight for my setup and it’s going into my RT5X.

I had to replace a very expensive 12 foot cable due to different layout that I can't use too long of a cable. While these are great, the only con is the two audio part of the cable are the same length, another words, on my older sony DVD player that I can't part with has the two audio inputs about 4 inches away from the three video inputs. I was lucky to pull the two apart about 6 inches and by a hair they reached. Something to take note of.

Bought this to connect an original Xbox to a monitor with component connections. Cable is well made, but not very flexible out of the wrapper. Video is great with no artifacts, color loss, etc. that I've seen with poorly terminated cabling. One odd thing was the left and right audio were not in standard order, so had to reverse the connection to the monitor. Happy with the purchase considering the high quality and difficulty in finding this cable type.

I used to have 3 or 4 sets of these component cables laying around, and of course got rid of them all a few months ago and found myself needing one for an OG Xbox that I've been messing with. I am using it in tandem with a component to HDMI adapter and I am very pleased with the picture quality.

i use this to connect my scart>rgb converter to my upscaler - i didnt need/want a long cord & these are short and rigid (perfect for mounting)i would but these again

Used this for a component video switch, no signal degradation that I could see. It's thick and well-shielded.

I wish I would have listened to other reviews that mentioned these cables are too stiff. I bought the 3' cable with the intention of running the signal between a component switch and the rest of my video processing chain. The switch sits up top of the rest of the chain and is rather lightweight. First off, it is somewhat difficult to even plug these cables in. They are so stiff that you kind of have to start everything at the same time otherwise the other plugs will pull out as you flex the cable to start the next plug. Once I got them connected, these cables actually had the stiffness to lift my switch up into the air. I pushed the switch down and the plugs popped out. Needless to say, this is going back. They appear to be of very high quality and if you can rig these up in a way where their inflexible nature doesn't matter, I'm sure they would work fine. For my setup, they were a no go.

OJO es muy pequeño 40cm ...pero esos eran mis requerimientos ...asi que tenlo muy en cuenta.....por lo demas ...es un cable de muy buen material y condiciones....muy contento..

el cable es muy corto nunca había visto un cable tan corto no se puede hacer nada el cable funciona bien pero tendrias que tener tu aparto atras del tv y de una forma incomoda para poder usarlo el largo del cable es muy problema muy grande para el precio que tiene por eso le doy esa calificación tan baja. pues tuve que conseguir otro cable ya que este no sirve lo conectas y no puedes hacer nada con el

Lo compré para conectar un reproductor de DVD Samsung a un HDTV. La calidad de sonido y audio es muy buena sin interferencias ni ruidos. Maneja sin problemas la señal de 1080p/60fps que se usa en el escalado de señal.

Le cable n est pas flexible du tout a un tel point que du n arrive plus a le fixer.Aucune difference avec un cable normal.Ne vaut pas son prix
