Compact build perfect for RV use.
Perfect for use in RV. Small footprint when folded, printing is normal, haven’t used enough to rate print cartridges capacity. Loaded minimal SW on PC, using USB versus WiFi, which wasn’t a friendly affair with my setup.

Works as expected
Set up is fairly simple. The only problem is having to download yet another app to ise the product. Other than that it's light, portable, and gets the job done.

Great printer for the road
My job requires that I travel about 330 days per year. I need to be able to print certain documents, invoices, bills, etc. I am very happy with the TR150. It's small, light, easy to set up, easy to connect to my phone or laptop. Prints text documents quickly and over all has been a very good purchase on my part. I cannot tell you how many times a customer will tell me "Oh....well if you want that printed out it will be $5.00 per page or "Our printers are all broken" or you go to a truck stop or store and try to get something printed and the employees somehow screw it up or charge you a ridiculous amount, or .... well you get the picture.

Great mobile work printer
I got this for work and needing to print proposals on the go. Ultimately much cheaper that running to staples all the time. Print quality is decent, maybe a 3 out of 5 compared to professional prints. I haven't tried any photo paper on it though.Get the battery backup accessory kit!! I leave it plugged in so it charges while I'm driving off of usb c and is always ready to to when I need it.Wifi Hotspot connection works ok, it can be pretty fussy at times though. Most of the time it's pretty cooperative, but on occasion I've got to fight with it a bit, disconnect and reconnect, force stop and restart the Cannon app, and print some pdf files as converted images. For that I'd knock off one star. That being said, this thing is in my street parked work truck year round exposed to every kind of temperature NJ has to throw at it, sub freezing to heat waves, and it still prints just the same!If you are dealing in PDF format printing I highly recommend the free app CamScanner as a good print companion to fix any formatting or compatability issues.

I'm a Canon fan but this is the worst printer EVER!!
I have HP printers and have had Brother also. For over 10 years at the table desktop I have used my Canon iP100 portable printer without fail. It connects to my MacBook Air either with a USB cable or Bluetooth. It has a battery for portable uses and it just works. I have a page count of about 10,000 pages printed over a ten year period. I recently purchased a MacBook Pro and my trusty iP100 drivers were out dated so I decided to purchase the Canon TR150. Portable, same footprint, I got the optional battery, It uses the same ink refills as the iP100. Whats not to love? PLENTY, first the TR150 only connects via Wi-Fi and it expects the router to be connected to your computer. If you have a weak signal the printer either won't print or it prints 1 page every five minutes. There is no Bluetooth like the older printer and a direct a connection doesn't seem to work. The printer has a small 1 1/2" screen with menu after menu but there is no owners manual. There is Canon's on line setup You Tube video but they just show you haw the connect to the router. There may be a telephone number where you can reach customer service but I can't find it.Canon has gone from just simple and it works great to it only works if you carry a router around with your MacBook Pro. Why they ditched the Bluetooth that worked so well and made a machine that is really really BAD. I'm going to have to return this and find a iP110 which is an older model. The model does work on modern Macs.In the video the sound is really bad nevertheless you can see the computer is connected directly to the printer - still NO GO....
