Perfect Solution to Get a Dish Off of the Roof
Had to move a DirecTV dish off of the flat roof of a small condo complex. Building is getting a new roof and they want nothing directly on the new roof surface. Anyway, this mount was the perfect solution. DirecTV guy installed it for me when moving the dish. Mounted to a large 4 inch beam under the eaves. Solid and sturdy. Yes it has some weight to it but you want that. It's not so heavy that you can't at least hold it up for measuring and installation. You will need 1) Hardware to install. No hardware included but, to be fair, every installation will be different so there's really no way for anyone else to determine what hardware you need. Also, 2) If you're installing a DirecTV dish, you will need this adapter. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B009P54Z6G?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title. With mount and adapter, easy, peasy. Entire installation took about 45 minutes for someone who knew what they were doing.

Very Sturdy, but missing measurements/dimensions - see other reviewer for details
As another reviewer pointed out, this is not "lightweight", it weighs 2.8kg or 5.2lbs so installing in under a roof eve will take patience and strength. It is a sturdy piece of steel tubing with a solid steel plate (1/8" thick, 4.5"x2.0625") welded on for the mount to the rafter tail. I'm slightly concerned that the torque of the weight hanging beyond the eve will overwhelm my 1.5" thick rafter tails and eventually sag away from vertical. I may consider stays or adjustable support arms to improve the sturdiness. I'm not mounting anything heavy - a weather station - which requires a solid mount. My biggest complaint is that the company, DRM, does not seem to provide solid measurements of all dimensions. Thank you to reviewer "NuclearCryptoHardwareGeek" who provided a drawing with many dimensions. The specification in the description that this is a 1 and 5/8 inch sized tubing is slightly misleading. That is the Outside Diameter (OD) only in the ~4" flared section at the upper end. The Inside Diameter (ID) in that flared section is 1 and 3/8 inch (for those considering an extension pole).Color - Be aware that although in the company image on Amazon the device looks black, what was shipped to me June2023 is a much nicer (less obtrusive) neutral gray.As other reviewers have mentioned there are no mounting bolts provided. Given that the type and length would vary depending on material, this is understandable. The 4 large holes in the mounting plate are 5/16" diameter. Shop accordingly.

Great Outdoor Antenna Mount
I mounted this device myself on my home. I subsequently mounted a tv antenna on it. Everything turned out perfect. I could not find an antenna that had a suitable mount that came with it. This mount was the solution. I’m totally pleased. Now I hope that it lasts for a long time.

Starlink Eve support
It is a very strong support. No adjustments are available on it so it’s hard to get it straight up and down. Mine did not come with any hardware and I was going to return it and have it replaced but they were out of stock so I kept it.

Very strong
I placed this under the eaves of my house. I used my old antenna pole which slipped inside of this and put a screw in to keep it from turning. I then installed a directional and an omni directional antenna to it. It is all very secure.

DIMENSIONS - See my Image!
Are you confused by all the conflicting and partial answers about the tube dimensions? I sure was. So as soon as I received this mount, I took careful measurements of it and created a drawing, which I've uploaded in the hope that it will help clear things up. (Note to DRM: You're welcome to use it as you wish.)I have no idea why others are saying that you also need to buy a mast. The expanded diameter at the top of this mount matches the original "1-5/8" Dish tube size, so the antenna should bolt right on. I say "should" because my eaves are 20 feet up and I haven't yet worked out a safe way to climb up there! There was a suggestion here to use 3/8" lag bolts, but I don't see how they would fit without enlarging the mounting holes, which measure only 0.322". 5/16" lag bolts will fit, but I'll be using 5/16 x 2-1/2" carriage bolts with split-ring lockwashers and nuts on the plate side.Overall, I like this product very much. I didn't pry off the end cap to measure the tube wall thickness, but it's heavy and strong; the plate is 5/32" thick steel. The tube is beautifully formed, and the welding and powder-coat quality are very good. I expect it to last at least as long as the rafter to which it's bolted.

Missing mounting hardware
Disappointed to find out this product does not come with fasteners to mount. You must provide your own. Delayed my installation of product.
