We were given this set as a wedding gift. We loved them but, as others have mentioned, the lids fit too tightly, and some of the latches began breaking. We contacted AGtrade, told them about the situation, and they sent us a whole new set for free! The new lids are awesome, include a vent, and fit beautifully. They also cover the corner of the glass container, which I'm sure will help prevent chipping and breaking. This was such a positive experience--totally recommend!

UPDATE:Below this paragraph is the original posting, but after receiving the new containers I have to give 5 stars for price and a much better product. The original ones the lids were manufactured incorrectly and broke from way too tight of a fitting, but the new batch fit much better. For the price, size, and function I think this are very good!The price for the containers was a good deal, but the unfortunate news is the lids are all almost broken because they fit too tight and are hard to get on or off. We have only had ours for 3-4 months now. Several of the plastic latches on the lid are broken because of how not fitting they are. I have tried every means I could to preserve the lids, but they kept breaking on the plastic flaps.If the lids would not break when trying to put on or take off they would be great. Unfortunately these containers cannot be used to preserve food anymore.

They nest inside each other perfectly. Good seal. I’ve read that lids break but that’s normal wear and tear with any brand. It is flexible plastic after all. These are good quality. Love the larger zized ones.

I was in need of some glass storage containers that would safely hold hot things off the oven, and which could go into the fridge and freezer both. These fit that bill pretty well. They stack nicely in the cabinet, and the glass part is solid and sturdy. I have not tried putting them in the microwave, but they have been through the dishwasher just fine.The lids leave something to be desired, however. They are not nearly as sturdy as the glass bottoms, and more often than not, I can get three of the sides to clip down securely, but the fourth will not stay closed. While I appreciate that they are BPA Free, I don't think they are as leak-proof as they claim, since not all four sides seem to want to stay down, and I am not willing to make a huge mess to test the mettle of the cooperating three.

GREAT CONTAINERS. I USE THEM FOR COOKING IN THE OVEN, AND IN MY DEEP FREEZER, THEY WORK GREAT. THE LIDS SOME TIME DO NOT HOLD AS THEY SHOULD. THE 120OZ HOLDS A LOT, BUT IF YOU WANT TO COOK A BIG MEAL YOU NEED A BIGGER ONE

Dangerous. I loved these for a long time. Then after about a year or so, the locking tops would snap and I’d have sharp pointed plastic that didn’t lock. And worse, the glass started chipping - not only did I find the edges chipped off, but I found little chips IN MY FOOD.

I recently purchased a lidded glass container, and I must say, I'm very impressed with it, especially the lid. Before buying it, I had read some reviews mentioning issues with the lid, so I was a bit apprehensive. However, after using the product, I have not encountered any problems with the lid.Firstly, the lid is sturdy. It feels strong and well-made, providing a tight seal for the container every time. This has prevented any spills, which I've experienced with flimsy lids in the past.Secondly, it seals tightly, keeping my food fresh without any leaks. Whether I'm storing leftovers, snacks, or pantry items, the lid keeps everything secure until I need it again.Additionally, the lid's design is practical. It's easy to open and close, creating no mess. Its see-through feature also allows me to identify the contents without opening it.I'm so satisfied with this container that I have already ordered another one in the 120 oz size. The glass quality is very good, especially the lid. It's clear that they paid attention to making it functional and durable. I highly recommend it if you need reliable food storage.

EDIT: Literally 2 days after the return window I notice another lid issue. This one much worse than the previous. The medium lid has o e of the sides fully snapped apart. I have not used them excessively. I have not put them in the oven or microwave. I hand wash all pieces and am incredibly gentle. I am now super disappointed with these.Overall, I'm very satisfied with these. They are super durable and strong feeling. Super easy to clean. I dont feel like i'm going to break them easily and the fact that they nestle together makes storage great. I would not call them "leak proof" maybe just "leak resistant" since tipping it like the photos did produce a bit of leakage. Since they are nice and heavy I don't think they would be sloshed around enough for it to cause an issue for me.I did however have one issue that I noticed immediately when I pulled the first lid off. One of the tabs was partially broken. I took a picture and tested its closure. It seemed okay since each side has 2 tabs and what was left of the tab seemed secure. About 2 weeks later the tab is in danger of falling off. It does still close and feels relatively secure but it most definitely worries me.

The glass containers themselves are going strong after 2.5 years. I am careful with my kitchen wares, as in I don’t cut the food inside the containers, I don’t slam them on counters etc. There are no chips or scratches on the glass, but the lids broke down after a year and a half of normal use. I am now on a lookout for replacement lids that fit the containers. Surprisingly, they are not easy to find.I have WAY older Rubbermaid and Starfrit LocknLock containers that have no such issues with lids that are still as good as new. I would say go for Rubbermaid borosilicate containers instead of these ones.
