I love this. Great tools for me. It's quality.

Best pliers you can get. Extremely durable and will take abuse (I'd say unbreakable but I'll bet someone has broken a knipex tool at some point. We've got some crazy fools out here), grip work piece well and aren't prone to slipping, and are comfortable to use. Not sure what more anyone can ask for in a pair of pliers. I've been using various models of different knipex pliers for about 20 years, and still have my original pair. I will not buy any other brand at this point. Their wire cutters are good too, as are the wire crimpers. A friend of mine who also has a collection of them, uses a pair of pump pliers so old that they say "West Germany" on them. If you're actually considering spending this amount of loot on pliers, these are the ones for you.

Anyone that owns Knipix tools already knows that the quality is second to none. All of the Cobras are my go to for this type of tool. These are the only ones that I have with the new softer grips. They definitely feel nice but take a little getting used to. Great product even at the pricey cost. But, they are worth the investment.

I have been a plumber for going on 18 years and have been a regular channel lock user for most of that time. Then I tried the Knipex Cobras and will never go back. Channel Lock brand pliers are a great value for the money, but so are these. If you are a professional that uses pliers weekly or daily these are worth the extra money. They take a little getting used to if you use normal groove joint pliers but once you get the hang of adjusting them you will love the gripping power and ability to let go of the pliers without them readjusting themselves. Have bought the 12”, 10” and 5”/6” and love them all. Highly recommend!

I have been a mechanic of sorts for most of my adult life. Over thebyears I have discovered the value of well made tools. Most of the time they can be overpriced and some people feeld that way about knipex. You will find that even though these are about 2 to 3 times the cost of your average pair of channel locks, they will out perform any set of adjustable wrenches at any price. Their are some copycat products out there that are not too bad, but in direct one on one comparison they still can't be beat. They are low profile and the button does not stick out so far that you get a accidental release like you may with a copycat like Milwaukee or Irwin. Spend the extra money engrave your name and never ever buy another pair.

I ran into a problem with removal of a totally rounded oxygen sensor. I never would have even guessed that his tool would do the trick or that it is actually much better than Vise Grips. I saw a demo on Youtube and at a point where I had tried everything. The tool griped and held while torqueing with a 3' pipe extension on the handle.

I already have the slightly smaller version of these for many years that I used a lot without complaint however the extra capacity of these makes them ideal for household plumbing fixtures. Highly recommended.

This thing is awesome and gets used every day. Who needs a pipe wrench for light work when you've got this thing?
