Too small to fit a standard 1/2" internal pipe wrench inside
Doesn't seem to be a standard size - too small to fit a standard 1/2" internal pipe wrench inside. If you don't have access to tighten from outside, it won't work with a standard internal pipe wrench.

Good quality brass fitings at a good price
Needed this for a plumbing project and local source only had one on hand and could not tell me when they would be back in stock. Resorted to Amazon to purchase for this project. The adapters arrived very fast and were perfect for the project. They seem to be high quality brass fittings and were less expensive than our usual local source. I would buy again if/when needed for other projects.
