An amazing book, plenty of practise exam questions covering all topics. The exam questions are for each chapter but then you have past paper example questions on top of this with all the answers at the back of the book. Worth every penny for someone studying the course or teaching it!!!

NOTE to those using the book to revise. In the first test paper, the Denary-> Hex question number 8 (b) (ii) converting an anded binary number to Hex the answer in the book is incorrect. They have A7 it should be 97. Also, some of the other answers in this paper are questionable. For example: For question 3 they say to prevent falling victim to Phising attacks you should not open emails from people you don't know. Really? Well that's not the right answer IMO. To prevent phishing you don't click on links they give you in the email. My email software automatically does an email preview for all mails as do many other packages. They also say the way to stop Fraud is to use data encryption. Yet the question is "How to guard against [fraud] to Internet Users." Not Internet Computer Scientists, internet users. How would the average internet user know about encryption or how to use it??? Question 9 on Parity - b(ii) oh dear, how to make a very simple answer over complicated!!! Poor model answers IMO. I haven't looked at the second paper yet....
