Awesome
Works brilliantly - would be better with a head for the mic but it was in great order - it was pretty much new but the box was damaged which is fine as I got discount. Love this item :)

It’s everything I wanted from a recorder
I’m using to record bird calls and song. The sound quality is excellent for a hand held recorder. I find it very easy to transfer recordings to laptop where I can analyse.

Unusable as supplied - not happy
Unable to review as yet since neither a memory card nor a USB cable was included.Somewhat pointlessly, however, batteries were supplied.How hard would it be to state clearly what is and is not included so that one knows exactly what else might need to be ordered at the same time?!I shall update here when these irritations are solved but this has already reduced the upper limit of its ultimate star rating.Not happy.

You can't use MicroSDHC!
When l got the product l was disappointed there was no microSD included and l had to buy it separately.In the description it says you can use microSDHC. So, l bought it and put it in and l still can't use the Tascam because it tells me there's a card format error!!!! Very annoyed... l can't give any star points as l can't use it!
