Summit Tea - Organic Green Dragon Pearl Tea

All the pearled green tea I find lately has jasmine in it. This doesn't! Awesome, I ordered some. But I wouldn't say the tea tastes great. I've had much better green tea, both pearled and unpearled. It has a generic flavor that I'd probably describe as weedy / grassy, with not a lot of nuance. I like it more than gunpowder variety greens but less than a quality sencha or Chinese green tea.The pearls crumble a little when they hit water as well, which means you have to strain it carefully anyway to enjoy it.It's not bad tea, it's just not great either.

Well I have never really liked Green Tea, until recently. I went on a trip to Halifax Nova Scotia, and went to a wonderful Chinese Tea Room on Lower Water street, right off the Boardwalk. It was there that I had some wonderful Dragon Pearl Tea and have not turned back. I now realize that before I had either old or crappy Green Tea, and that is why it never appealed to me.But this review is for Summit Tea Company's Dragon Pearl Tea! It is a wonderful example of a really Tea. The tin I received of it was very fresh and had a wonderful aroma. It looked better than the stock photo! It had a wonderful amount of the White Fuzz and just a fantastic flavor. Wonderfully Fresh!This is a terrific tea to get your feat wet in the world of Green Teas, and Summit is a great place to get it from, top notch products!

with the right amount of water and temperature, the taste is absolutely wonderful!

Great Tea.Years ago I used to buy a product called Dragon Tea, but the company has closed. Since then I have been looking for one like it. This tea is very good even though I am not through comparing. I love how it comes in little pearls, for they have wrapped the tea in little balls. And the taste is great unlike some other products I have bought.

There are four or five high quality tea companies and Summit is definitely among them. This tea is smooth and flavorful, good for multiple steepings and does not get bitter at all. I prefer Jasmine Green Tea but this is a nice switch from time to time.

I'm very happy with tea, its great to watch the pearls unfold and it creates a distinct green tea flavor that I love in just 2 min of steeping.

Something is not quite right with this tea. Has an odd flavor. Tried it twice to be fair, but still had the same odd flavor with second pot. Chucked the remainder. Green tea is pretty basic and hard to mess up. But they managed somehow. I have had dirt cheap green tea that was 10 times better.

Everything ok.
