Nine Line Kryptek American Made Mesh Back Hat with Drop Line Logo - USA Flag

I have to say I'm a bit disappointed with this hat and expected better for the price.The closure is just cheap velcro with no elastic so it's less comfortable if you need to strap it down to handle wind. The end of the closure does not lay flat because the velcro was not placed on it appropriately so the end sticks up.Shape and size are OK. Some reviews call the fit small. This is a shorter cut 'skullcap' type fit and not an old school over the ears deep cut hat. I wear between a Large and Extra Large hat typically, and this is set to it's smallest setting possible, without going over the end of the velcro and leaving a pigtail end sticking out, in order to fit. I would call this Large, not small. This may not stay on the head well for your meat head type guy due to the shallow cut, but should fit the average to large headed person fine.My biggest peeve is with this company embroidering their logo on the velcro through the entire hat rather than on just the velro which is then sewn on the hat; so it can otherwise be removed. This is a camo hat. I don't want to see your logo on the hat to give away movement or create a nice target in the middle of my head. Clearly this company is not clear on the concept of camo. This is not a Gucci status hand bag, this is a piece of camo apparel. If you want this label off you're really going to have to really work at removing all the embroidery stitching. Not cool! To make matters worse it is significantly crooked. Really? Crap quality imo, even the cheap Chinese stuff can get the velcro straight. No quality control apparently. And, if you decide to go through the work to get it off, you'll be further disappointed to learn that they used adhesive to glue it on in addition to the stiching. I guess they really don't want you to take it off!Construction is good, seams are taped, bill is thick and stiff, general shape/fit, etc is similar to my Condor mesh hat, but the Condor is less than half the price...and the Condor's velcro can be easily removed if you prefer not to compromise the camo. I'm not affiliated with Condor for the record, just pointing out an alternative to this overpriced selfish company who believes your paying for their advertising outweighs the function of your camo.Bottom line, don't waste your money or your time on this hat and buy a Condor or something else...unless you're in love with their logo and that's why you're buying it. While this hat does not justify its price imo, overall, velcro/logo and quality issues aside, there is nothing particularly wrong with this hat either and it's on par with most other similar hats out there. If it floats your boat, and you don't mind getting ripped off on price, go for it. But don't expect something exceptional. It's just an average decent hat, with no quality control, no better, no worse.While I decided to attempt to remove the velcro patch, in hind sight I should have just returned it. Some damage to the fabric occurred which was mostly hidden by the camo pattern, but I would recommend against it.

I like the way the hat fits and everything. The camo is on spot with the rest of my gear and it’s very nice in general. My only issue is that no matter how long I let the bill shape by tying rope around it to get a prefect shape, it keeps going back to a trucker hat style curve on the bill. I prefer much more curve, but I have a few tricks up my sleeve and I know that at least one will work to get the curve how I want it.Thanks for taking the time to read this.

the hat fits well, and has actual mesh. I have both this hat and the other version made by another company and I prefer this one. It also doesn't have the dumb name tape velcro on the back which I hate, and doesn't have an IR velcro on the top of the hat which is also dumb. color is actual multicam pattern

Great hat with a nice fit and look. TheBack does come with an adjustable head strap for comfort. IWould definitely recommend the hat to a friend or family member.

Nine Line hats are pretty much the only hats that fit my head properly. For some reason most hats either poof up too much or I have to pull them down to my ears which I hate. This is the 3rd Nine Line hat I’ve purchased and will keep buying more when they come out with new designs.

Great quality like that it is made right here in the U.S.A. Nine line makes great clothing. Hat is holding up well so far.

As a veteran and Patriot I feel great buying from a veteran owned company. The shirts and apparel are good quality and I have never had a bad product from them. I have and will buy products from NLA again and again.

Good looking hat but unfortunately it has a"fold" on the inner band that won't flatten out cause of the way it was sewn which causes me to have a red mark on my forehead after wearing for an extended period. It is surprisingly still comfortable but also unacceptable.
