I've been talking to Skye about various issues I've run into, and they've always been very thorough and kind with their solutions. I initially reached out for a minor issue of a key on the keyboard being aesthetically damaged, however, a couple days later my keyboard just stopped working. No bluetooth connecting and couldn't even type with a wire. Skye walked me through a couple solutions and once we found that my particular keyboard was faulty, I was arranged to get a replacement. The great thing about their customer support is that they follow up with you if they don't hear back, just to be sure you're truly satisfied before they close out your messages with them. I've never encountered such thorough and kind support, so I really appreciate it. I'm hoping this replacement keyboard that was sent to me is more representative of how long lasting the keyboard is (I've had it for 2 days at this point), and that the first keyboard that broke was just an anomaly. For the product itself, I love how compact it is, and that it has 3 available bluetooth connections so that I can keep my desk pretty clear. I have a work computer and a personal computer, and it's great just being able to switch between them so easily. The colors of the lights are really pretty too, and the feel of the keys when you press is very satisfying. I will say it's a bit loud, but I guess that's a given with a gaming keyboard. I am not a gamer myself but I just love the look of this, and was surprised when I saw that the arrow keys overlap with AWSD to save space, but I've gotten used to it now. I'd definitely recommend this company to others, especially after my experience with Skye :)

I bought this keyboard in Jan 2023. Loved it. Past tense. It works great, has just the right amount of clicking and was very responsive. This week, the 2.4g wireless mode no longer works. It works fine as long as it is plugged in. I believe it is fully charged, but cannot be sure as the led's aren't showing me what the manual says it should. I tried repairing it to the dongle in case something happened with that. No change. I tried reaching out to manufacturer product support (i'm outside the amazon return window by almost 2 months) from the "visit manuf website" link on the amazon page for my order. It took me to Redragonusa.com and a contact us form. I filled that out. I got an email from [email protected] stating that they don't sell this keyboard. They asked for a screenshot of the order showing the seller - it says Redragon Shop. They said they cannot help and that I should contact the seller. I did some research. Challenger USA actually owns redragonusa. I found it on the redragon website. So I'm not sure how Challenger can say its not their problem especially when the redragon contact us page sends the email to THEM. I went to the redragon shop website and filled out yet another form. I also contacted Amazon to see what my options are. They gave me a link to contact the seller via Amazon, so i filled out that form too. I will update when/if I hear back. I hope redragon shop isn't as sketchy as Challenger seems to be - I dont know if Challenger owns them too or not. If they do, I'm probably screwed. To be honest, I really would like to keep using this keyboard. I love how it feels and responds...but I really do need the wireless to work. 4/19/23 update - So Redragonshop is awesome! They gave me a few things to try - reset keyboard, update firmware for example and I'm happy to report the keyboard is now working on wireless. They were very responsive to my questions. They did mention that if the things they suggested didn't work, they'd make it right with me. Very impressed with their support and very happy to have my keyboard working correctly! Would definitely buy from Redragonshop again.

I bought this keyboard at the beginning of 2021. I wanted something smaller compared to my Redragon K556 (full 104 keys layout). I love the look and feel of 60% keyboards and wanted to try this Redragon K530 out. I also love that this keyboard has 3 devices switchable Bluetooth and that the USB C cable is detachable. Some similarly when compared to the Redragon K556: the keys feel decent, the sound when typing was decent as well (just sounds like any stock keyboard, a bit loud and scratchy). Overall, Redragon makes some decent budget keyboards. I recently started getting into the world of custom mechanical keyboards so I wanted to upgrade and mod this keyboard to make it feel and sound better. It is not recommended to disassemble this keyboard if you don't know what you're doing but other than that this keyboard was a great board to mod and upgrade. Some of the modifications I ended up doing were: - Adding PE Foam to the bottom inside of the plastic case. - Adding Masking Tape to the bottom of the PCB. - Adding PE Foam between the PCB and the metal plate (as shown in the picture). - Adding 3 layers of small masking tape between the PCB and where the stabilizer would hit the PCB to dampen the sound of impact (as shown in the picture). - Clipping and Lubing the stock stabilizer with Krytox 205g0. - Hot-swapping the stock Outemu Brown Switches out with Akko CS Matcha Green Switches (also lubed with Krytox 205g0). - Switching out the stock keycaps with HyperX Doubleshot Pudding Keycaps. After hours of modding the keyboard to its fullest potential, I managed to make this keyboard feel better and smoother and sound thockier than it ever has before. Couple of bad things to note: - Redragon keyboards use an Outemu PCB, so the "hot-swappable" feature of this board is only limited to 3-pins Outemu or Akko CS switches or something similar. - Some of the switches are tightly inserted into the PCB, so pulling them out was very difficult. - Alongside the tight fit of the switches, the stock switches are extremely cheaply made. So trying to pull them out will have a high chance of breaking the switch and its housing (so proceed carefully at your own risk if you plan on reusing them). Honestly, if Redragon ever decides to release an updated version of this model with better hot-swappable capability and support for GMK/VIA and studier and heavier plastic & metal combo build (like they did with their Redragon K556) while keeping the price low. It would make for a really competitive keyboard among the DIY custom keyboard world (just my thought).

I'm really pleased with this keyboard. Some highlights: Switches: Comes with brown switches. It also comes with additional switches you can try out (black, red, blue and an extra brown switch, 1 each). I initially was going to go with a keyboard that had blue switches but after swapping out my spacebar to a blue switch, I had to change it back immediately. The brown switches are a nice happy medium between the red and blue, it all comes down to preference - gamers typically prefer red or brown, blue switches have that kind of high pitched click that some people find satisfying to type on. If you're unfamiliar with key switches, I would suggest researching them a little to see what you think you'd prefer. The key switches are really only compatible with Outemu switches. I've watched multiple reviews on YT and people have tried swapping out for switches like Cherry MX (the "gold standard") and they did not fit. This keyboard is great for gaming. The brown switches are a nice balance for gaming and typing. Size: It is nice and compact and takes up very little space for a keyboard (obviously, it's a 60%, ten keyless design) and it gives me a lot more real estate on my desk. RGB: Tons of RGB pattern options that can be programmed straight from the keyboard without using software. RGB has 5 levels of brightness and can be nice and bright. Quality: The build quality feels very solid and durable. For being a budget keyboard, it feels premium. Connectivity: Can be used wired or wireless. Battery life: Used it quite a bit for about 3 days and when I plugged it in, it indicated it was still fully charged so I expect the battery life to be excellent. Complaints: Only gripe is that the caps lock is the only key that does not light up unless the caps lock is activated or if you hit a limit when adjusting brightness of the RGB lights (adjust brightness with Fn2 + [+], the caps lock button will flash red a few times when maxed out). Would prefer if it lit up along with all the other keys during the RGB patterns and maybe stay lit red when caps lock is activated. Wish it had some media controls like skip back/forward, play/pause, volume up/down. Not really a complaint but it takes me a second to use the arrow keys (Fn or hold caps lock + W, A, S or D) because I've always used a full layout. Just something to get used to. I combined this keyboard with the Red Dragon M808 Storm gaming mouse, NPET MP02-SP RGB mouse pad and it looks awesome. Would definitely buy again and recommend to gamers and non-gamers alike.

TL:DR If you are looking for a 60% keyboard this is it: now on to full review. Were to start: Picked this little keyboard up to test it out see why everyone raves over 60% keyboards, out of the box I noticed the quality of the product, the same types of keyboards you see going to 100+ dollars from other companies, for cheaper and better. The 3 channel selection is an amazing feature I didnt think I would want but found it very cool to connect with 3 different bluetooth devices and have them connect and able to swap at anytime. A downside is the usb charge/connection cable is shorter than I would have liked since my setup isnt close enough to use it without an extender. However thats a situation based about my gaming setup not a fault of Redragon. (I dont dock any points off my score for this as I though it was funny and doesnt change the way the keyboard works but a small manufacture defect happend that ended up with the W and A keys being printed incorrectly with the Arrows for the left,and up arrow keys (again this doesnt effect performance and I just got a chuckle and wrote it of as I got a very different keyboard than probably most will) The lighting effects on the RGB are similar to their other products using their software to cycle through lighting options, the rgb is clear and bright enough without having hot spots that accent the keyboard perfectly. The Keys are brown switches meaning you get a softer distinct click than with say blue switches so if noisey keys bother you, these surely wont and they are very very responsive. Gameplay- On and off the connection cable response time was the exact same, I play games such as R6:Siege and even things like stardew valley and such, I didnt see a difference at all in response time with it on bluetooth or plugged in, meaning it was just as responsive on bluetooth as it was plugged directly into the pc which is amazing no delay just gaming and again for the price...you cant beat that. Typing: now if you are use to small keyboards typing is fine, however I typically game on a full keyboard with a numpad aswell so it took some time for me to get use to the smaller layout of the keys however thats a personal thing. Look I could go into every little detail that makes this keyboard awesome but, Just take my word for it, you buy it you wont regret it.

I purchased this keyboard not recognizing the brand and not knowing much about gaming keyboards. After looking at as many reviews online as possible I decided to try my luck since I didn't really feel like spending $120-150 for a more recognizable brand name. I am very pleasantly surprised at the quality and general beefy-ness. The lights are bright and programmable, the keys feel great, and the size is awesome if you don't have alot of space or storage, of which I dont. One problem I had was trying to update it broke the bluetooth. I like to update everything as soon as I get it whether I need to or not. I really didn't have to. But I got in contact with customer support via their website and after a bit of failure at troubleshooting, they just sent me a new one. It was that easy. If you have an older computer though check your bluetooth version. My late-2011 imac is too old to work via BT but the bent USB-C cable keeps it looking clean. If you don't know key switches the browns feel like a traditional keyboard. They aren't very quiet with a light twang and clack (no late night sessions in the same room as a sleeping souse), but they have a satisfying click at the end of a key press. If you're looking for a great looking 60% with nice RGB I wouldn't hesitate too much about this Redragon not being one of the big brand names. It's a solid choice, just pick the right switch for you. They give you samples of the other types in the box but it's a bit too late by then.

Before buying it I was kind of annoyed it lit up. But when I saw the different lighting options I was actually pretty sold on the option that looked like a bowl of Fruit Loops. It was just really calming? I don't know, but I do know it was totally rad. I've had a little hiccups with it, and without knowing what the actual cause may be, I'm going to assume it has to do with battery related issues. I do actually use the lights, and I suspect the device requires charging more frequently that I am used to. If I turned the lights off I'm sure this would help significantly, but I have another wired keyboard nearby and I'm too lazy for that. Along this issue, sometimes I might type too quickly or spaz on the spacebar or something like that and sometimes my spaces will be off, but again, I think this may be related to battery, which leads me to my next point. This thing also supports a sweet usb-c port. Talk about getting with the times. If you're aiming for accuracy on a typing quiz or something, you can just hook this bad boy up by utilizing the usb-c port. Big fan of usb-c, way to go on that! This thing is compact, which is a pro and a con. I like that it's small, when I use it my desk feels less cluttered, however there is no num or directional keys which I do miss from time to time. I think the coolest feature of this keyboard is that is has a switch for bluetooth that allows seemless switching between 3 devices. I haven't tried pairing it with more than 3 devices but I for sure have it hooked up on my pc, phone, and projector and just being able to do that without going through the pairing option every single time is so heck'n nice. And it's very reasonably priced. Finally, I saved the most important feature for last. IT GO CLICKY CLACK. NEVER GET TIRED OF CLICKY CLACK. I'MA CLICKY CLACK TILL THE DAY I DIE.

Pros: Wired input lag is minimal. Very Sturdy Frame. Nice Sleek Minimal. Keycaps and Switches can be replaced pretty easily. Otemu switches. Key presses don't make the typical hollow or ping sound of cheap boards. Great LED's, nice and bright. Cons: FN keys are delayed and don't react well. Bluetooth is not strong and won't even connect from 2ft. Bluetooth when it does work has a noticeable delay. After 1 year my 6 key has broken on PCB, one tap writes 5 other characters. All other keys have held up although I switched some from Otemu brown to Red and Blue for my gaming setup. Overall: Best bang for the buck 60% keyboard for gaming, I've had. It is cheap don't expect it to be without possible flaws.

I purchased this keyboard because I wanted to free up some space on my desk. I had a Redragon K582 SURARA, and it was awesome. Well built, good price and it felt amazing to type on. I only expect quality from Redragon, and they delivered with the K530. Great Brown switches with a subtle bump that doesn't add any extra noise. Amazing layout, I love the FN+wasd for the arrow keys. Magic FN isn't something I use often as it keeps the Caps Lock activated but for one handed use, it's good. Lighting is great with the white keyboard, looks really nice. The L style USB C is great as well, especially having it on the left side. Bluetooth now works, which it didn't with my first keyboard, but once I contacted support, they got back to me within a few days and sent me a replacement within the week. I would give the first keyboard 4 stars because even without Bluetooth, it is an amazing keyboard, but since support was so quick and helpful, I will bump it back up to 5 stars. Thanks to Skye from Redragon support for helping me out. If you plan on buying this keyboard, I recommend getting an Aelfox wrist wrest. They are super soft and comfortable.

Es mi primer teclado mecánico y estoy enamorado de el. El único inconveniente que le veo es que no trae la configuración española, para mi no es un problema, pero si lo quiere usar mi hija, ella no sabe donde están los símbolos. Pero esto ya lo sabia cuando adquirí el teclado. Lo que no entiendo es como empresas como redragon no sacan a la venta Keycaps para sus teclados para cambiarlos de idioma. Todo lo demás 10/10. Lo utilizo tanto para ofimática como para jugar y 0 problemas.

This is a nice, solid keyboard, I'm using it to type this review. the solidity means it does not wander on my desk while typing. I bought it as I had a very small portable desk that this fitted very well. There are a couple of things that I personally don't like - I use excel a lot and miss dedicated arrow keys. There is a key combination but not quite as convenient (then again this is a 60% keyboard, so should not be surprised), and the other is that the keys are printed in US layout so some symbols are not right on the keys. It is set up on my PC as UK so the symbols are where I expect them but not shown on the keys themselves. The keyboard itself is very nice to use, responsive, connects easily via bluetooth and has a reasonable battery life even with the RGB running

This is a great mechanical keyboard in the 60% category. I have been using it extensively, over the last 3 months. It is compact and though the body is made of plastic, it's built quality is superb. It sits easily on even small tables occupying very little space. It's very easy to carry in a laptop bag. It has a set of kick out feet, which gives you that extra bit of tilt and makes the typing experience very easy on your fingers. The RGB is bright, well lit and very well done. The battery life is good and lasts me for almost 2.5 days even with my heavy use. The battery charging time is a bit on the longer side though. The keys are double shot and well done. It has bluetooth as well as RF 24r Ghz which is a great feature. This has been especially useful to me as compared to my last mechanical keyboard which had only bluetooth connectivity. I am now able to connect to my office laptop as well which does not allow bluetooth connections. This is the best part, I am now able to connect to practically any device. For mechanical keyboard fans, the keys are hot swappable and the keyboard comes with a key pulled and a key cap puller separately. The only thing I found annoying initially is the placement of the arrow keys, but over the last 3 months I have gotten used to it. So all said, this has been a very good purchase for myself, and Amazon's delivery was also on the dot as always. I understand that, currently, there are a large number of options, from different brands, for this type of mechanical keyboard, but from a pricing, built quality and features perspective, this is probably one of the best, if not the best option out there.
