Shakespeare Playing Cards (Literary Playing Cards)

These have just arrived, and as they had no sellotape over the box, I was able to open them for a sneaky preview before saving them for my Shakespeare Club friends. The cards were beautifully illustrated, with good quality card, and with a little booklet to explain the characters, and a very sturdy cardboard box for everything. I am delighted with such efficient service and excellent quality.

My 11 year old granddaughter likes Shakespeare. She enjoys playing with these cards and likes reading about the characters in the booklet which comes with it.

What a wonderful set of playing cards this is! Heroes and heroines of Shakespeare's plays very cleverly arranged. Lady Macbeth is, of course, the Queen of Spades!

Love these cards, lovely illustrations, great quality and very tactile to use.I am also learning more about the Shakespeare characters and tales through using them.

Beautiful art work on the cards, really pleased with this product. The reason I haven't given 5 stars is that the cards are slightly warped so they don't lay 100% flat, but it'sonly a little bit. But they work fine still, and look great.

Lovely gift, however the cards are slightly smaller than regular playing cards and not as thick.

These are incredibly beautiful. Card quality is good and the character descriptions in the accompanying booklet are great.

Simply stunning, the attention to details is amazing! Every card has a different character, there's a booklet inside and the packaging itself is a masterpiece.

These are too beautiful to actually play with - tough coating however so entirely possible. I love them.
