I got this product for my 4 year old friend. Before giving it to her I played it for 2 months and loved it. Decent sound quality considering how inexpensive it is.I have since got a concert size from a different brand and am far less happy with that one which cost more than this.I would definitely recommend this for beginners and was also very happy playing it as an adult.

I wanted to try to learn to play the Ukelele but didn’t want to spend big money for something I might not get on with. Mahalo are known for beginners instruments so I gave it a try. I.m really happy with what I got, a lovely little instrument that sounds nice. It comes with good strings, not bargain basement ones (and spares). The tuner works fine, I checked it out with a good tuner app online.So for a woman with small hands or a child I would highly recommend this as a good starter set for the absolute beginner.I would also recommend you splash out on a buttonless strap, it’s a slippery little sucker, if you’re not concentrating holding it you can focus more on learning to play it. Don’t be disheartened by it keep going out of tune, this is normal until the strings stretch and settle, not a fault with the uke. Have fun, £30 well spent.

Value for the price but it is really lightweight. Just like a toy. It doesn't sound great but it works as expected.

I brought a different brand of Ukulele off Amazon to start with and it was awful, it kept going out of tune. After looking through reviews I decided to buy this one. I’m a complete beginner so didn’t want to purchase anything too expensive and this is awesome! Stays in tune, good quality for the price and I’m already starting to sounds like a pro (well, in my eyes anyway lol)
