Fit my fridge perfectly. I feel better knowing the water used to make our ice cubes is being filtered. While I cannot see or taste a difference as my home is on a water softener and another filter (have a well), keeping germs and mold at bay is my primary goal. Easy to install, and I now have spares to replace in the future.

In a nut shell... I would purchase again over OEM units. Very pleased 'Tier1' filter owner.
Soo... After reading most of the reviews here on Amazon for fridge filters, I was skeptical to purchase after-market units. I've only purchased factory Frigidaire filters in the past, but now at $49 each... Ouch!!!! that's a life changing decision! ("Should I put the children through college, or purchase fridge filters?") Sadly, it's cheaper to purchase bottled water from the grocery store, opposed to replacing a fridge water filter. And honestly, I really don't care for the additional trash/wast that the plastic bottles create... Until now!! These 'Tier1' filter units are great (IMO!). Some bullets of my experience: Happy points: - They're affordable - They fit and seat well without leaks (at least with my fridge) - They were delivered super fast (like most of our goodies from Amazon) - And they produce great tasting water Other points: - The fit of the 'plastic face plate' on the filter is not as perfect as the OEM units. And seriously at this price point, I could care less about that (see pics). - The color of the 'plastic face plate' is not pure white as the interior of the fridge. Again, who cares... It works great! So Barbie may not agree, but I totally recommend!! :)

Doesn't Quite Fit (UPDATE: Now it does!)
Inserting the filter into the slot is perfect, it slides and clicks in just fine. However, it's supposed to be able to click into the cover (pictured in the product photo, but does not come attached), and the one I got does not slide in so easily. It isn't necessary to the function of the filter, so I've left it off for now, but it is kind of annoying. EDIT: I've bought this item again recently, and it came with two covers for (I'm guessing) different fridge models. One of the covers matches my fridge and I was very happy to see the product change to meet the previous need.

A perfect fit, and great value
The filter arrived earlier than expected. It was a perfect fit for my Frigidaire, easy to install. Removed the chemical taste from the water. A great product at a great savings!!! I will purchase again!
