EDC Contender
My second ZT knife and by far my favorite (also have 0450). I had expected this in 20CV but received the newest version with S45VN. Hard to complain about this steel though as it does a lot of things great with little compromise. Edge retention is excellent and it came with a razor edge from the factory. The geometry is slice-y and I love the aggressive grind of the blade as a whole. The work finish is fine although I prefer a natural or satin look. The G10 scales are great with beautiful contouring and finishing. The fasteners are quality and bright. Beside Micarta, these scales are the way to go for lightweight, confident grip. The assist is snappy and direct and releases nicely from the liner lock. Overall, the design is attractive and you’re reminded this is a Kershaw knife albeit with higher quality materials and excellent finish. It’s not a heavy knife for what it is. Comparing it to a benchmark PM-2, this is thinner, lighter, shorter and handier with slightly more blade edge to boast. My PM is also S45VN and I’ve not noticed a difference is quality between the blades. It sits nice in the pocket unlike other knives of similar size.I love carrying this knife and have to stop myself from taking it to work everyday as my job can be rough on tools. Out of the 8-12 folders I own I’d realistically EDC, this is one of the most common I grab.

the most impressive knife at this price point
This knife is amazing. The weight and balance are perfect. The steel is maybe the best available for a folding knife, and it's literally razor sharp out of the box, to the point it easily shaves body/facial hair when just scratching it along the skin. The blade shape is perfect for slicing or piercing applications. The handle material contributes to the price being lower than other models, but it does not in any way feel "cheap". The grip provides excellent friction in dry or wet condition. The locking mechanism is smooth and satisfying to deploy. This was my first entry into ZT knives, and more are certain to come.

Buy it, if just for the blade steel!
GREAT KNIFE!But make sure you get one where the liner lock operates easily with a single thumb and closes easily. I had to send two of them back because an adequate quality control check on the 'ease of liner lock closing" of their knives, prior to shipment from their American manufacturing plant was not done. I thank the Amazon seller, Wisementrading, for doing their own quality control check and assuring my knife worked as designed! It's as smooth as butter to open and as easy as Apple Pie to close. The blade steel is superb and holds an edge beyond the point you would think you'd need to rehone it. Simply amazing steel at an almost tolerable price! I own 3 other "assisted open" Kershaw knives but since this one was made from CPM 20CV steel I decided to pay a little more (twice as much) but so far so good, not as much time honing on the leather strap :)!

Knife is okay...
Good steal, with a decent design. The handle looks cheap. The packaging is very cheap. It's not really what I was hoping for. I bought this as a gift for my son's birthday we engraved the blade with his name and a family verse. I wanted the experience of giving/receiving a quality knife something that would have high value for generations. What we got is a utility knife with a big price tag. It's a pricey knife from a well-known knife maker (ZT is Kershaw's high-end line). My son probably would have preferred a Kershaw (one of his favorite brands). But nothing about this felt high-end except the steel. I have bought $10 knives with better packaging and appearance.ZT, Buy a Blackfox knife, experience unboxing, look at the appearance, then look a the price and feel ashamed.

Snappy!
It's what you would expect from ZT. This is one of their less expensive knives so it's not really special in any way, but it is a quality knife all around. If you don't own a ZT this is a good first blade. It's snappy!

Very Sharp
Best EDC knife I have had. Lightweight, opens quickly with very little assist. Very sharp and easy to sharpen.
