The best!
I bought three books that all just arrived. I laughed more in the first ten pages of this book than in the other two joke books combined. Plus, most the jokes are only one or two sentences. The jokes are so funny and so short they're a breeze to memorize. This is the book I've been searching for!

OK. but old stuff.
Some of the lines were funny, but most of it is old one line humor. It is mediocre at best.

Useful and funny
I use about 75% of the his liners in my "line of the day" comments. They are the hit of my e-mails.

This book is way lame...
I was impressed at the reviews given by celebrities like Charles Barkely when I first found out about this book.I read the entire book and honestly only about 5 out of all 3400 jokes make me at least smile, because if I said 6 I'd be viciously lying to you. It was a waste of my time but, I read it anyway. If you found this book funny, I would recomend for you not to share its jokes with anyone who is considered to have an average humor IQ.Anyway, I really wish I could get a refund even if it's partial.

Have a Giggle
Whether you intend to give speeches or would just like to brighten your day, you'll enjoy this book.I fondly remembered a remark made by famous hypnotist, Dr. Milton Erickson, that "within every fat person, there is a thin person waiting to be excavated", when I read the following one-liner:"Inside of me there is a thin person trying to get out, but I can usually sedate him with five or six doughnuts."Here are few more examples from this book:"Always be on the lookout for new ideas. Why, the guy who invented the spray paint got the ideas when he sneezed while he was drinking the tomato juice."* * *Kid: "When I grow up, I want to be a philanthropist. They always seem to have lots of money."* * *Do you know what doctors write to pharmacists in Latin on those prescription pads? "I got mine, now you get yours."* * *"I always hold hands with my wife. If I let it go, she shops."* * *Teacher: "Who's happier: A man with five million dollars or a man with five children?"Student: "The man with five million."Teacher: "Why?"Student: "Because the man with five million always wants more."

Some good nuggets in here
There aren't as many jokes and categories in here as I would like, but the ones that are in here are pretty good. I've always liked Pat Williams, so this was pretty easy to pick up.

Great Way to Fill Normally Wasted Moment in the Day
Waiting for a call, or a friend to drop by, or maybe sitting on hold? Pick up one of these joke books to fill that idle time. I enjoyed this one.

Wish I could remember them all at the proper time ...
Wish I could remember them all at the proper time. Hundreds of laughs. Next time I give a speech I will reference this book for sure.

Mostly 1950s & 1960s jokes
As intended, this book might help you lighten up a speech, especially a speech to folks born in the 30s who brought their hearing aids. There’s not a single mention of the internet, although someone’s wife wanting to keep up with the Gateses is included. There are some great, timeless jokes in here, like (paraphrasing) One thing that always worries me at picnics: how many calories are in an ant? And there are a lot of great outdated jokes here, like: On my European vacation I saw so much poverty, I brought some home with me. But overall, I only highlighted six jokes in orange, which to me, indicates there’s not much treasure here, even if there are plenty of small smiles.

Funny bone remained untickled!
Humour is subjective. I tired of this book before I got to page 60, without a single chuckle. The book has gone into the bin because I did not want anybody to find it in my library and risk them judging my sense of humour by this volume. American humour at its slickest is very clever. This book is not clever!
