Great for exfoliating face, elbows, knees, heels and whole body! I have loved this product since I was a teenager, and I am now age 59. Buf-Puf is a timelessly great product!

If you are looking for an exfoliating sponge, that won’t fall apart, look no further. This original Buf Puf will last a long time, and does not flatten or separate like the generic ones you find at your local drug stores. I had trouble finding Buf Puf in any of my local stores., but it was easy to order through Amazon! A little pricier than I remember, but it will last a long time. If you find it too course for your face, just use less pressure, although they do sell one that’s for more sensitive skin. I get the regular because I can also use it on elbows and knees. I keep one in my shower so I remember to use it, and one by my bathroom sink in case I forget. Nothing better for exfoliation and for transforming dull skin to glowing! Highly recommend!

This is a great sponge for exfoliating your body. However, I would not recommend for your face. Even the sensitive version is too abrasive for your face. It felt like I was scratching my face with it, although there were never any visible scratches. I did not want to risk any breakouts or ruining my skin barrier so I discontinued using on my face, my arm pits and bikini area love it!

If you know you know. Same quality as when it first came out many moons ago. You'd be disgusted thinking after you washed your face and then used this, how much more dead skin and didn't you pick up. I also recommend using it around your neck and throat. It really does clean and your skin looks amazing. This is a tried and true exfoliating sponge....try it with Noxema and you'll look like you took 10 years off your face!!

I’ve been using Buf Puf for years ! Like the 70’s!! I love the way it exfoliates dead skin cells off my face and makes it prepared for my foundation application!

I've been using other brands bc you get a lot of sponges for a few more dollars $$. But, I just wanted the Original that I used as a teen (many, MANY years ago) bc I Know it is so much better and I just wanted to have it lol. You can definitely tell the difference in size, texture and durability from the imposters. It's more densely woven and bigger. I will continue to get the others but I definitely plan on getting these again to supplement. The price is a little higher than expected, but the quality justifies it somwhat.

Good quality eventhough I have yet to try. Currently using the Gentle grade.

I fell down the rabbit hole of Buzzfeed recommendations when I purchased this. They had an article about an elderly woman who swore this product was her life saver and she'd used it all her life. Anyways, I bought it. And I love it! I feel that it does exfoliate enough for me and makes me feel a bit more refreshed. It's important to note that I am a VERY minimalist beauty user... a little BB cream, mascara and SPF. I use a gentle cleanser at night and some good old night cream.

I recall Buf-Puf sponges being thinner, but this one is thick, and does a good job washing my face. So glad to have it after using washcloths.
