Everything listed included & arrived a few weeks early (ideal considering we're in lockdown too). I ordered 3 different designs and one embroidery hoop was broken on the inner hoop, and one had broken the same way but appears to have been superglued together again as has the 3rd one. I would get yourself another set or embroidery hoop first because these don't appear very sturdy - although they look nice, they're actually wooden. English instructions arrived for the black plant pot design for me but I would use YouTube to help learn stitches as a lot of beginners kits are hard to follow by diagram

Never stitched before. Very happy with what I managed (please see pictures documenting unpacking & progress). The pack arrived as shown (plastic sleeve). Instructions were not in English, but managed to figure out most stitch styles. One by trial & error. Had lots of fun, addictive, completed in around 5 days (probably 6 hours in total). There was enough coloured thread with some leftover. Needles were correct size, fabric good quality in terms of strength (did not stretch in hoop). Be patient - it takes around one month to arrive (May 2020).

absolutely love the finish product, such a shame the instructions weren't English but after studying the pictures it became clearer. never done embroidery like this before, enjoyed it loads and would recommend it to other new embroiderers.

Lovely coloured threads and simple design. Was really fun to do when stuck at home. The drawing and instructions were easy to follow and after finishing the embroidery, the design stamp came off very easily with gentle dunking in a bucket of warm soapy water. Ironed on reverse side when damp and left to dry and now hanging on my wall!

I haven’t started this kit yet as it wasn’t what I thought it was but I think I must have made a mistake & not read the description properly

Loved this product! I’m an absolute beginner and I am thrilled with the results! Instructions on various stitches were a bit confusing as I’m a novice but I just quickly u-tubed each different method and it was done in no time! It’s now hanging up in my bedroom! Very proud of my first piece!

Not a bamboo embroidery ring, it is plastic, not Aida either, it is cotton. I was a little taken aback to see that it comes printed with The Smiths est 1977 printed on the fabric. As my name is not Smith nor was I established in 1977, this is somewhat annoying. The printing had better come off with washing. The instructions are very poorly translated through google translate, for example: 1 line is 6 shares, 4 shares, 2 shares are folded in. I would not recommend this for a beginner to emboidery.I have given 2 stars only as the fabric is quite nice to the touch and there are 2 needles in the kit. I washed the fabric as per directions, the ink used has now dyed the fabric a murky pink/grey colour. Reduced rating to 1.
