Ajumma Republic Korean Hot Red Pepper Paste, 500 g

I bought this intending to use it for making Kimchi as the gochuguru was all too expensive at the time.Instead, I seem to have used most of it up on making Maangchi's excellent crispy tofu recipe though. Whoops!I have also been recently using it in a dressing with garlic, ginger, spring onions, and grated carrot and a sprinkle of toasted sesame seeds; it's just amazing. Not so far off Kimchi as a concept, fresh vegetables instead of fermented (it doesn't really last long enough to even consider a napa-less kimchi style ferment in honesty).It's a lovely brand of gochujang. Yum!

The price was so cheap so I wondered if it is tasty? But it was a great buying. I'm going to order again. Thanks a lot.

Was ok,something different but haven't experimented with it much,well worth the price though

First time I tried gochujang was after ordering this. I made a marinade, and used it on chicken drumsticks. Great flavour. Five stars.

My daughter makes her own kimchi, and uses this in her recipe. It works great and tastes so good! Also excellent in fried rice.

I bought this for a recipe on the TV ....can't remember what for now ...but it is a staple ingredient in a lot of Asian food ...so will be using it soon .

I feel this isn’t what I was hoping but that’s only down to me my taste and flavour of what I was hoping

I use it as a base for lots of sauces and marinades. This stuff is incredible but found it cheaper on the high street.
