Another great read from Ali Benjamin
I loved The Truth About Jellyfish and this book does not disappoint. It's funny and touching and so true to the middle-school experience (at least the one I’m living vicariously through with my own kids). I love it when an author isn’t afraid to portray a flawed protagonist, giving that character more room to grow and learn. Profound at times and silly at others. I couldn’t put it down. Plus, GOATS!

Great read
This book was a really great read for young adults, I read this for a book group with my son and loved the dynamics of hearing the story through different voices. It was an easy read with lots of funny parts but also some really great messages about kindness and being true to yourself. I definitely recommend this book!

Middle School Goats
A fascinating book about middle school. Highlights all of the feelings that accompany major change. Many middle schoolers experience new schools, new friends, and new classmates. This book covers these heavy topics in an entertaining and new way. The story's setting is a unique small school set in an old mansion with GOATS! An unconventional middle school experience but it is a welcome break from books focusing on teenage drama and easy stereotypes.

Beautiful YA story with lessons for all of us
I liked the kids. I loved the freedom of expression she had them all have. Yes, idealized, but beautifully. We all wish we went to that school with kids like that. Fully accepted and lovedI am not doing the book justice. Buy it , read it, go r it as a gift.

Great book for middle school
Excellent book for middle school students. A great way to introduce The Odyssey and Greek Mythology to them.

3 and a half stars
I am a grade school student. This book was decent and focuses on every day struggle mixed with clever unique-ness. But it took me until like halfway to get to the plot. There was a lot of side-plots that didnt necessarily go that well with the main idea. I didnt extremely like it but some people might enjoy it.

Good book for a 7, 8, 9 year old depending of reading level
Good for a nine year old. Theme isn’t too mature for her age. A little slow to start but a couple interesting and fun revelations.
