I purchased this bike for our 4 and 1/2 year old daughter, and she absolutely loves it!While it did arrive only partially assembled, all the sections were well protected and secure for shipping. The instructions were clear, although they are written somewhat generally (not specific for this bike). They also seem to include an abundance of warnings ("If you don't do this correctly, it can cause DEATH!") In the end, it probably took no more than 45 minutes to put it all together (mostly due to time spent double-checking after reading the dire warnings...)For a first bike, this seems a great choice!

Great product, not easy to put together. Make sure you have your own tools, and a good selection. We had basic tools and had to make due. It became frustrating, but we were able to put it together in about 30-45 minutes. I wouldn’t buy an unassembled bike again. However, that being said, she is adorable on it and LOVES it!

It's a peice of junk. The pedals are ridiculously hard to turn no matter what we do. I bought this for my 4 year old for her birthday and shes extremely disappointed she cant even use it. Amazon was nice enough to offer a replacement if I were to mail back the original however I'd have to go buy a new box to put it in to ship and take time off work to go to the post office (small town so it closes while I'm on lunch and is open only while I'm at work) not worth the trouble. Off to Walmart to buy another bicycle. -.-

This bike lives down to its poor rating. It's made cheaply and the pre-assembly is terrible. All the bearings are over-tightened, making the wheels, pedals and steering hard to turn. I tried soaking them in WD-40 to little benefit. I would have to tear apart everything to adjust them. From the looks of it, the plastic chainguard will not last long. The instructions say use an "adjustable wrench" for assembling the parts. Good luck with that! It took me 3 different sockets, an open-end wrench, a screwdriver and more than an hour to get this thing put together--and I'm a retired mechanic.I'm just hoping my 4-yr old granddaughter will be able to ride this piece of junk for a little while. She has a larger 16" bike, but being barely 36" tall, it's just too big for her.

The cost was appealing but it came fully loaded with rust and the bearings were not smooth at all. Would not buy again.

Well this is disappointing. There’s something wrong with the chain or barrings the chain is so stiff a child cannot pedal. I read all the reviews before the purchase and most complained of cosmetic issues. I just wanted a bike my small 4 yr old could ride. And this was not it. Impossible for a child to pedal.

Bike arrived well protected, no scratches as previous reviews. Painting looks great. It got three stars because the bearings on crankshaft grind and spin hard. I loosened it and lubricated but still grind. Unfortunately my two year old granddaughter did not have enough leg strength to overcome the grinding to ride it so her five year old big sister rode it. This problem should have been caught in inspection! Huge Birthday disappointment. Because of this, I don’t recommend.

I was surprised how easy this was to put together. It's really cute too. This was a birthday present for my 3 year old and she LOVED it! She rides it everyday and it is perfect size for her. She is small for age, and the lowest seat position is just right for her to be able to pedal.

My daughter loves this bike. It arrived damaged and the wheels a bit dirty. Made me start to wonder if I bought a used product. I have ordered a replacement and is awaiting delivery.

My kid loves the bike! Easy to assemble. Just needed some tools that was not included. You can check Dynacrafts website. It has the assembly instructions as well the tools needed. Great customer service too.
