I've stopped going to the dentist for teeth cleaning altogether. Adding this vitamin K2 cleaned the calcified krud off the back of my lower front teeth in 2 days! Truly amazing! Now my teeth are smooth and clean all the time. I just brush my teeth once a day -- and often I forget to do even that. I'm saving good money without the dentist 2x year. I learned about it from Richard Nikolay at Free the Animal website. He wrote: "Well, the K2 is the only one I definitely "feel." . . . Within a few days, all plaque deposits on my teeth dissolved and have not returned. This has been a big issue, as I had gum disease and two surgeries about seven years ago. Since getting off grains (probably the gluten) my gum disease has reversed completely according to the dentist. And now, my teeth are virtually always smooth. I rarely feel the need to brush them." So, I had to try it. And it worked. The vitamin K2 is a hard to get vitamin, even if you eat the best pastured eggs, butter and organ meats. It's the 'X-Factor' that Dr. Weston A. Price discovered. It puts the minerals where they are supposed to go, instead of calcifying your arteries and joints and tartar on your teeth. Be sure to get the MK-4 version of vitamin K2. The MK-7 is the plant derived form. In answer to one critic, the likely reason MK-4 doesn't hang around in the blood very long is because the body uses it up immediately. MK-4 is the form our body uses most readily. If you have concerns about this, google these two articles: Chris Masterjohn's "On the Trail of the Elusive X-Factor", and then look for Stephen Guyenet's blog post "Vitamin K2." And even though this bottle costs alot up front, you only need several drops a day -- so the bottle will last you all year. NOTE: Read all of Richard Nikolay's blogs on this. Apparently, for this to work, you need good quality Fermented Cod Liver Oil, only made by Green Pastures. I have been on that kind of cod liver oil for years. Maybe that's why I had such a dramatic effect. Bottomline: if we get all the nutrients we really need, our body should be clean and smell good -- like all primitive people were. I also stopped wheat completely (read Wheat Belly by William Davis) and bye-bye went bad breath and body odor. I only take a shower every 2 or 3 days. It is a great freedom.

I noticed some people complain about the bottle. I would have agreed, but it turns out that if you hold the bottle perfectly upside down and perfectly still, after a few seconds it starts dripping quite steadily. Fast enough to not feel like you're waiting forever, slow enough to stop after exactly 15 drops. This isn't spelled out in the directions very clearly, to be fair. The other options on the market for menatetrenone at this dose all seem to contain microcrystalline celluose, which isn't the worst additive, but some find it causes digestive issues. 5 stars for quality ingredients, and well-designed packaging. I don't have any evidence for the efficacy or dose accuracy aside from my own empirical experience, having compared it to other similar supplements.

For the last few years I noticed my 13 yr old dog's lack of exercise tolerance and hind end weakness. I attributed that weakness to her spondylosis and a ruptured Achilles Tendon. I was giving her a different brand and form of K2, hoping it would help decrease her spondylosis, since K-2, mainly as MK-7 makes calcium go where it's supposed to and not where it shouldn't. Sadly I was using menadione which is a relatively toxic precursor to MK-4. Then I switched to a better form and brand that has MK-4 & MK-7. Also, since age 10, she was having difficulty breathing and was diagnosed last fall, 2025 with Laryngeal Paralysis (Lar Par). She had tie-back surgery in January 2026 to give her a rescue airway. Her breathing is adequate now unless under exercise stress. Lar Par is now termed Geriatric Onset Laryngeal Paralysis Polyneuropathy (GOLPP), because they discovered it causes axonal nerve damage in the long nerves, one of which goes to the hind end. These dogs eventually get such extreme hind end weakness that they cannot stand or walk and become incontinent. It's an insidious disease that ends up taking their life. My dog, strangely, has been getting stronger in the hind end, wanting to run and jump again even with her bad leg. She still has to be limited due to her airway not being functional and only having a small opening to breathe through. But I am so thrilled to see how well she is doing, and I attribute it to the MK-4 she has been getting for over a year. After reading all of Chris Masterjohn's writings on MK-4 and how it supports mitochondrial function, and how mitochondria govern everything, I'm convinced the MK-4 rescued her nerves, preventing total loss of hind end function. This is one of the brands he recommends. I'm also giving her a stack of antioxidants to aid and preserve nerve function, that I just started a month ago. Do not listen to the reviews that complain about the dropper bottle. The bottle is designed to give a METERED dose, meaning very specific sized drops for accurate dosing. It shouldn't be removed or modified. It only takes a couple seconds of holding it upside down. to start slowly dispensing one measured drop at a time. I put one drop a day on my dog's food, and at that rate the bottle will last a long time. It also has to be kept in a cool, dark place to prevent it from degrading, which happens very quickly when exposed to heat and light, especially light.

I'm really not sure how to rate this. I bought this particular K-2 MK-4 since I am highly sensitive to fillers. This K2 is the cleanest out there, and I bought this because the 15 mg dose (15 drops)is what was extensively studied in Japan and in the Netherlands, and the 1mg drops allow me to titrate it. I started low and worked up to 15 drops. My doctor endorsed this dose as well. I ended up suffering with extreme abdominal cramps and diarrhea. Initially I did not blame the K2, but after a week of misery I realized it had to be this. However, I did notice in that short time that some brown spots on my skin had significantly faded, and a mole had shrunk to half the size. I did some research online , and found a post regarding side effects, from one of the original studies in Japan done by Eisai (a large pharmaceutical company) translated into English. Almost 5% of the experimental group (over 1600 people) had side effects, the first on the list being abdominal pain and diarrhea. I have MTHFR, and as a result most standard dosages of anything are more than my body can handle. Silly me for thinking a vitamin is different than anything else! It's pretty clear that K2 has a lot of wonderful benefits; I just have to find a dose for me that has benefits without side effects. 95% of the people who try this will have clear sailing, so I'd say go for it.

We love taking this product. It has gotten rid of the plaque on our teeth but also surprised us by getting rid of my husband's restless leg syndrome. We had no idea that it would do that but if he stops taking this it will return within a few days. He takes 3 drops (3 MG) a day to get results. We have tried other vitamin k2 products and none of them have given us any results. All of the MK7 products seem to do nothing and Carlson Labs Vitamin K-2, 5mg, 180 Capsules doesn't seem to truly be 5 MG per pill like they advertise (my husband has to take 3 pills, which according to them is 15 MG, to get results with that product). We were initially hesitant to buy this because it seemed expensive but are so happy that we made the investment. It usually lasts us 4 months so its not that much monthly.

I have been taking the natto stuff (mk7) but kept reading all the good stuff from Chris Masterjohn and Ray Peat about vitamin k2 in the mk4 version. Obviously not about to go ham on the goose liver - and pastured eggs and milk are good but not great sources of this vitamin. I can’t eat beef liver without gagging so this stuff is it. I take 1-2 drops a day usually in a divided dose. The bottle has 1200 drops in it so it should last a long time which is good cuz it’s expensive. I keep it in the fridge. I have noticed a difference I think - some people say mk4 doesn’t stay in your blood for very long and is useless while others say that it’s being absorbed by your tissues which is where you’d want this form to go. So ultimately I’m young and healthy and trying to stay that way with a nutritional amount of this stuff (not therapeutic doses) so I guess we’ll see how I’m doing in another 35 years? People say their teeth feel great, I’d agree. I was having some jaw pain and stuff that’s gone. I think I feel a little more energetic too. Update 12/13/19 Still taking this stuff and my original bottle is still good to go. I got a chest x ray done when I pulled a muscle to rule out any other issues and my bones are great. No arthritis and they’re nice and thick. I’m still pretty young but I know people younger than me that have been surprised to find out they already have the earliest stages of arthritis beginning. So anecdotally I think It’s helping keep me healthy and I’ll keep taking it in the low doses that I do.

I give my autistic daughter 3 drops a day. I have no idea why but it improves her mood. Originally I bought the product because others who have reviewed it said that dental plaque was cut down after using it. I don't see plaque dissolving but I believe that it is likely that now after about 4 months of usage it may be a contributing factor to preventing further plaque build up on my daughter's teeth and less swollen gums. I will continue to use this because of the dental situation but even more so because of her improved moods. Initially when I gave her 15 drops as directed she did well but after about 2 weeks she started getting irritable so I stopped and worked our way back up to 3 a day. This seems to work for her. I put it inside her breakfast foods and I take a drop a day myself. At times I take vitamin D3 so K2 is essential. By the way, my daughter had been taking 1 or 2 of a different brand's mk-7 at about 90mcg daily with no effect. I wish there were more research out there about K2. I have tried to research scholarly health articles online and there is definitely an effect that mk-4 has that is different from mk-7. Maybe taking both is good but we won't go without this one. Update: I had the dentist's clean the plaque off of my daughter's teeth 6 months ago and there has been no return. When I made my son in charge of preparing my daughter's breakfast he started forgetting to put the vitamin k2 drops in (now only 2/day). For about a month her behavior deteriorated. I once again reminded him and sure enough her behavior improved again after resuming the k2 drops. She also takes magnesium and riboflavin

I’ve received vitamin today and on the bottle the expiry date is 08/12/2022. Taking into account that the product is from USA market, USA date format mm/dd/yyyy so it was expired in August. Even if the date format is different, it’ll expiry in a month which is nonsense as how can I use the whole bottle in a month. I would like the product to be replaced with the normal expiry date.
