Done But Not Perfect
Essentially, this book is about creating a productivity focused mindset, checklists and tools. As an on-going student of mindset and mindset creation, the use of mindset in the title caught my initial attention and sparked my interest in reading this book. While the author did address the subject of mindset, the greater value of this book lies, in my opinion, with the content related to checklists and tools.Rather than using a multiple item To Do List, the author recommends completion of just four daily tasks. Work on these tasks is broken down into 10 and 45 minute time periods. These four daily tasks are the “four most important things every day.” Work on these four tasks and their time periods are spaced out during the day among the other aspects of your day.The author also recommends a three day project window. He stated: “Any enthusiasm for a new project tends to die off after three days.” He noted that within the three days, it is better to get a first draft in “a somewhat finished state” that can be improved upon later. He also recommends creating milestones with deadlines for each project as well.I thought the bulk of the content on checklists was actually more about content on templates and recurring responses. In fact, the author actually titled Chapter 3: Templates and Canned Responses. The book’s content about tools you should consider using included:• The Google suite of tools• ZenDesk• Calendy• ZapierAs I read through the book, which was an easy and fast read, I did note several issues with spelling, grammar and formatting. I guess this an example of done is better than perfect. I still think, though, that quality counts for a lot.The errors I detected, while noticeable, do not significantly distract from the valuable and practical content this book delivers. I found this book to be valuable and helpful, and I suspect you will too.

this book will not disappoint and you will see results immediately after completing each ...
Robert proves once again that he is a master of time management. Starting with his Four Daily Tasks (**highly** recommended), he rounds out the entire picture, expanding into a whole picture for maximum productivity. Some new items I picked up was that there is a three-day window where excitement for a new project is highest and one must strive to obtain results within the first three days. Additionally he hits on health and how it helps promote productivity. He discusses the tools he uses, the techniques he uses (templates & canned responses), using a journal to track your time, setting up a help desk, appointment scheduling and automation techniques. One of Robert's, and his partner Lance's techniques that they teach is getting results today, often within one hour, don't wait for perfection or you will never accomplish anything. If you are trying to get a grip on your schedule and productivity, this book will not disappoint and you will see results immediately after completing each chapter.

Make Your Computer Work for You
Excellent checklist for automating our lives with a view of the author's mindset on one solution to tools available for on line assistance.Next best thing to a virtual assistant! Not just for entrepreneurs - but anyone who wears too many hats in his (or her) life.Mr Plank takes basic tools (most are free or inexpensive), beginning with Google, and shows how add on-tools can make these programs work together to solve more problems as they make you more efficient (and perhaps more relaxed). This is best for the start up who is not already wedded to a complex system. This is basic (if innovative) information - but clearly useful. And, after all, isn't this why we all bought computers or hand held devices in the first place.

A wealth of great tips and tools for organization and getting things done.
I finally had a chance to read this easy read book. Thank you Robert for giving great advice about time management. That is one area that I struggle with. I really enjoyed the checklists and tools that you recommend using. I have already started using my four daily tasks and it has helped me to organize my day. I am one to have everything perfect, but he makes great points that it doesn't have to be perfect starting out...just get it done. Which brings up another thing that really opened my eyes was his tips on the three day window. I am terribly guilty of getting excited with any new project, only to lose some of my momentum due to information overload! But doing something with your project within 3 days while having that enthusiasm makes a lot of sense.

Quick Read For Quick Implementation
As an entrepreneur and consultant time is my most valuable asset so I am constantly looking for systems that better manage my time.A key approach you will learn from Robert in this quick read is to stop using multiple item To Do lists! Robert recommends focusing on accomplishing Four Daily Tasks. Where you break the tasks into chunked time periods.Another method Robert suggests to tackle projects is to use a "3 Day Window". I know I have seen this in my own work where I get excited about a new project, but within a few days due to competing priorities and info overload I lose enthusiasm. Roberts suggests it's better to get a first draft in “a somewhat finished state” that can be improved upon later. You will find he practices what he preaches, because the book does have several grammatical and spelling errors. However, don't let that deter you from reading this book! The mindset and actionable steps he provides, along with checklists & templates, are all intact and valuable.

A short book filled with lots of helpful productivity tips and not a lot of fluff. Short and sweet.
I learned several things in just the first few pages of this book that will definitely increase my productivity. There are plenty of helpful tips. It is short and to the point; not repetitive nor filled with a lot of fluff as so many other books of this ilk. Short and sweet, it is a very helpful book.

Really! Robert you really "spilled the beans" in your Quick Easy to Read book.
Wow! This is an excellent primer, with outstanding tools, tips, and hacks, about how to improve your productivity and business. The Zapier discussion alone was well worth the time and energy. Great implementable ideas. Thanks Robert!
