Blind Spot Mirrors- Compatible with BMW i3 (All Models) Extended View

UPDATE 9/27/2025: It has been another 2+ years and these are still stuck tightly on the mirrors through many pressure washes and remain clear and spotless. They continue to provide 100% blindspot coverage and give me total confidence in lane changes for the past years. ORIGINAL 6/21/2023: Not sure why for such a small car, the I3 has terrible blind spots especially on the driver side. A few times, even after checking my rear view mirror, driver side mirror, and looking out the windows, I still missed cars in my blind spot. These blind spot mirrors are essential for factory mirrors on the North American I3's. A previous reviewer is correct that it partially blocks the view on the driver side mirror, but anything that it blocks from the factory mirror can be seen inside the blind spot mirror. Once you get used to them, the factory plus these blind spot mirrors combined cover 100% of your views. The benefits gained far outweigh the small compromise. Plus they fit perfect and look factory.

Great addition for wider view mirrors for the lack of blind spot monitoring on 2014 BMW i3. Withstood several automatic carwashes, no issues.

These mirrors came recommended in an online i3 owners group. Even in this tiny car, there are some blind spots and these mirrors are perfect for giving me a little more peace of mind when changing lanes. These fit the i3 side mirrors perfectly and they've stayed firmly attached, even going through the automatic car wash. Would buy again!

Its a good mirror, however the angle to how it can be installed is fixed and does not show enough of my blind spot. If they would add a wedge to give more angle it would be perfect.

I ordered these for my car, which doesn’t have BSW (blind spot warning). No more tweaking my neck to look back to see if a car is there. These work perfect. At first the directions seemed contradictory, but after reading them a few times I kind of got what they were trying to say. Just make sure you use a blow dryer and slight pressure as directed.. I’ve had these on for about three weeks of daily driving with no problems, and couldn’t be happier with them.

Was looking for a solution for my i3 side mirrors. Even with the recommended blind spot reduction adjustment, there is still a split second when a car approaching in the next lane disappears from the rear-view mirror, before it reappears in the side mirror - which is dangerous during any lane changes. These fit perfectly and are large enough to give a really good field of view, without blocking out the normal view with the mirror. They actually look 'factory', and testing them in traffic, work exceedingly well.
