Tired of this company sending garbage.
I've bought multiple BMS from this company and I have not had 1 work with 100% of their functionality. Thi most recent 14s BMS the balancing function didnt work if even 1 of the cells was higher than any other. Instead of actually balancing the cells, it would just shut the charger off once ANY cell reached 4.18 Volts. it wouldn't try to discharge, it wouldn't pause that cell while continuing to charge the others. It also would seem to choose 1 cell and charge it the quickest then shut off...100% brand new samsung cells, all with the exact same starting voltage and it shut my pack off from charging at 55.5V because one of the cells hit 4.18V. I had to actually remove that cell from the pack, manually discharge it and then add it back in to FINALLY reach 58.8V for the entire pack...These are garbage!!!! I;ve sent messages to the seller (no response) STAY AWAY from these BMS

DON'T BUY!!!! All 3 I Got Were BAD!!!!!
I got one and it broke and caused one of my cells to over charge and puff. I returned it and go a new one which promptly burned its self up half way through the first charge and the next one overheats after 10 minutes of using it.PLEASE DONT! BUY THIS BMS! It HAS COST ME 50$ And a WEEK of my time fixing.

No Documentation
Prior to ordering I asked if documentation was included with this BMS. Once receiving it, it is apparent that there is no documentation at all. Only a BMS in a static bag. I would like to upgrade this review to four or five stars but need proper instructions in order to install it correctly before I can do that. Until I get documentation it is only a paper weight.

Major safety hazard!!!!!
It looks and feels as though the male connector is a different type than the female connector. I trued to push the connector in and it was really difficult. And even though I was very careful not to bend any pins, the one on the far right (B1-) bent outwards. Also, adding to my suspicions that this is an incorrect match up, there is a plastic tab on the B1- side of the male connector that has no chance at fitting in the female part. Not sure how the pin got bent because the tab prevents the male connector from really hitting the pin.Looking at other reviews and seeing what I have, this board is a major safety hazard and should not be sold. Especially at this price!! I have bought several other BMS boards of ebay that can output 35A that cost a little under half of what this did... and they also had working connectors.

Kills my battery life and e bike range
My battery life is being cut by 30-70% because of this bms. This bms limits my charge to 50-51v and discharge to 45v, when I should be getting the full 53v-40v range (unloaded). This is even charging at a very slow rate with my power supply at sub 1 amp (0.2c). I heard this pack cut off at 4.1v/cell which would be an acceptable 53.3v, but it cuts off when my charger reads only 51v. The discharge cutoff at 3.44v/cell is where I'm losing most of my range, I believe. My recommendation:Next battery pack, I'm definitely going the bms free route and using a dual 7s packs to achieve 14s because you can buy a 7s balance charger, whereas you can't buy a 13s balance charger. If you can find a better bms that's reputable that suits your needs, go for it, but don't go for this. The only reason I haven't given it 1 star is because it hasn't blown up yet, and it seems to balance individual cells properly.

Wiring for BMS
Here is a typical wiring for BMS, I have four of theses with no issues. You must make sure your batteries are balanced before assembling or you will not obtain full voltage. BMS will shut off due to high cell voltage, if all is correct you should have 54.6 volts... Hope this helps....

Works Great
Used this on an electric bicycle build. 13s12p battery. It balances the cells nicely and reliably.
