Morning Industry QF-01P 3-in-1 Remote Control & Touchpad Dead Bolt, Polished Brass, Keypad, Key Lock, Keyless, Alarm

I purchased this lock to replace another keypad lock that had an IR remote (ie you must be in line of site with the outside of the lock to operate via remote) The reason I purchased this unit was so I could lock and unlock my front door from the second story of my home. The remote works great from about 30ft away and does not need line of site which is great. My old lock often got stuck or failed to lock the door, however I have owned this lock for 8 months and it has operated flawlessly since it was installed. Installation was quick and painless and programming the lock was easy to do as well. Would highly recommend this unit to anyone looking for a dependable lock that is easy to operate and who is looking for remote control that doesn't need to "see" the lock from the outside.

Compared to the Morning Industry knobset these deadbolts are rock solid. I only bought this brand because they were compatible with my Insteon Home Hub system and would otherwise NEVER consider this manufacturer for ANY product.

Purchased in 2013, and customer service sent replacement a few years later. Now I am having the same exact problem....the keyless entry does not completely unlock the deadbolt which is the reason why I bought it. Deadbolt can only be unlocked by the keys.

Makes a chirping noise when signals are sent to it from a controller and makes the dogs bark. Eats up batteries too fast. Looks nice though

All went well, except I never did find the arrow that was suppose to be pointed up when installing, I guessed by using the old lock as reference and it all went together fine.\My wife loves the remote open and close. She always has her hands full and has no time to fumble for keys. I use the old fashion key to lock and unlock, I don't like a big wad of remotes and keys in my pocket, the car remote, the door remote and a few keys is a pocket full. I wish I could use the car remote to open the house door.Programming the code in to the key pad was fast and simple and so was the setting up the remotes.The lock that I replaced had a little red light that was lit when the door was locked. I could see it from a far distance and in the dark, I can't tell on this one with out turning on a light or getting very close.

I installed this about two years ago. I haven't had any problems at all. It opens when it should open and locks when you push the button. Battery life is definitely not an issue. I changed mine after about a year and a half. It seemed to be working a little slower, but I changed them mainly because I was nervous that they lasted so long. It has been great not having to keep a key on my car's key fob and it's even better that I don't have to take keys with me when I take the dog for a walk. I am moving next month and I will be buying one for my next house.

AWESOME PRODUCT !!!I love this product!!It arrived in a fair amount of time, it looks nice on the inside & outside (unlike some of it's larger competitors), it's compact, easily installed, works exactly as stated, product customer service for any reason, multiple codes that can be programed for different purposes (that can be added & removed individually), have the choice of using the standard key OR the keypad entry OR an added bonus feature (that comes in handy a lot more than I expected)... a small key chain REMOTE (no codes to enter or keys to use).AND... it's $20-$40 less expensive than other brand equivalents !!!

Took only about 20 minutes to install as I was replacing an existing deadbolt. It really looks good, like the door is really protected, physically and electronically. The ONLY drawback is that it only comes with one remote and of course I need one and my wife needs one. But they are also available on Amazon so it's not really a problem. What was really great is that everything worked flawlessly the first time. Probably a function of not being made in "China" but on Taiwan.
