Loud
This thing is heavy and wayyyy bigger than I thought only shoots ball like 10 feet. My collie is obsessed with fetch and I fantasized that when I was busy he could entertain himself and I could get some work done. He is very intelligent but the noise bothered him and was scared of it and wouldn’t go near it even for treats. unfortunately this did not work for us. But may work for you.

Dumbest lab on the planet loves it.
Within a few minutes of pulling it out of the box our 3 year old lab figured it out. She will not stop playing it. Thankfully it has an off button. She however jumps in front of it the second she knows when it going to launch. She’s already learned the sound it makes and knows when the ball will fly out. She excitedly dances around waiting for it and then at the last second jumps in front and catches it within a foot or so. Until now I thought she has been the dumbest lab we’ve ever had. The balls that came with it don’t last long. I bought a dozen other balls that squeak. Added bonus.

Very happy with this one
This one is the best one we have found. This is the third one we bought (my dog is a relentless retriever). It doesn’t make some of the loud noises that the others do. My dog learned how to work this one quickly. We turn it on when we get worn out from throwing it for him.

This is the greatest invention ever created for ball obsessed dogs!
I've tried another launcher but it was terrible and the company even sent me a new one without sending back the old one. They both lasted about two weeks.I bought this one and it has a remote, no 15-minute timer, doesn't need to be plugged in all the time, it makes a noise but it isn't obnoxious like the other one, and I like the fact that it's square. I just have to clean it after each use, make sure it's charged, and I placed it on a chair so my border collie doesn't stand directly in front of it waiting to catch the ball on its way out. This has lasted about six weeks now and I'm still just as happy with it today as I was when I took it out of the box. If this one ever breaks, I will definitely buy another one.

Shame on IDOGMATE
Not durable enough for a big active dog. Now he's addicted to the fun but the machine is now broken again. I've asked for help and received an email but it's jammed again with YOUR ball. I say shame on you for purporting it's heavy duty and it can't last 15 minutes. I'll be returning it.

Do you need this? No do you want this? Yes will it bring you and your dog joy? Yep it will. Nice design safe for dog and owner. Throws balls when I am too exhausted. I like it!

Dog loves it-quality not great
My dog loved this. But it wasn’t long before there were rattling parts inside, after my over-zealous dog would knock this on its side while waiting for the machine to throw his ball (talk about impatient!).If your dog has an ounce of patience, this may work for you! Ours still works despite the rattling noise. But I’ve come to realize it’s just as easy to simply throw him his ball now.

Broke with very little use.
For the hour it worked, my dog loved it.
