GREAT cereal, not the best of value, but still worth it
I don't ever write reviews, but i felt obligated to write one for this cereal. Food is always hit or miss when you buy it on the internet, but I'm actually glad i tried this cereal after reading the nutritional label. So, the answer to all the reviews you've been reading is here, the chocolate flavor tastes good. Really good. So does the honey flavor. Vanilla is okay, and fruity tastes TERRIBLE, and has a bad aftertaste. Curious side note too, it has a strange consistency, once you eat it you'll know what i mean, it's very "tough", but not chewy and not hard either, just tough. But it's actually a good thing, because when you pour your milk, it doesn't get soggy at all, and it stays consistent and satisfyingly crunchy. It comes with a VERY small quantity though, and the price is kinda steep, but I'm going to buy it again because it tastes great and it's pretty healthy, and i guess it teaches portion control for cereal lol. I HIGHLY recommend chocolate and honey, like after eating a bowl of each i honestly said out loud "wow, that was really, really good...d@#&". Try it out, you won't regret it!

Keto dieter? Miss cereal? Get this now.
Okay, I've been on the keto diet for about a year now. Before that I was on the paleo diet for about three years. With that being said, I have not had a bowl of cereal in about 5 years. I miss all the great tasting cereals out there from Cocoa pebbles, Reese's Puffs, Cap'n crunch, Cinnamon toast crunch, etc. one of the major downsides to the keto diet, I love cereal. only recently I started seeing ads for keto cereal popping up but they were very expensive. I couldn't imagine buying a box of cereal for over $10. But as I got more and more into keto and realized not only your aren't you be paying more to be healthier like $6 for a pint of Keto ice cream for instance, I decided to take a chance with this cereal that I have been reading great reviews about. fun opening the box, I was blasted with a smell of real chocolate. No not crappy fake chocolate, a real cocoa smell. I quickly poured myself a bowl and doused it in almond milk. The smell was amazing, reminiscent of Cocoa Krispies. I took that first bite hoping for the best and I was greeted with the most delicious natural tasting yet surprisingly sweet and natural chocolate taste I have had in a cereal in the longest time. I immediately fell in love with the first bite. The texture was amazing, very crunchy and it retained its crunchiness through the duration. Never did it get soggy. The chocolatey flavor was delicious and addictive to the very last drop, and best of all it made the milk chocolatey as well. It left me craving another bowl but at the same time I was very satisfied and not wanting another bowl of sugary, high carb and unhealthy genetically modified garbage. And absolutely satisfied in my cereal craving right then and there. so the bottom line is, you are going to get what you pay for it and if you want a healthy cereal for your keto diet and something that tastes absolutely phenomenal, get this cereal right now. I definitely will be ordering more. I don't know how magic spoon and cereal school will stand up to this but I know immediately I am a huge fan of high key and I shall continue to be!

Great Keto Cereal
I really like the taste and texture of this cereal. It tastes like Cocoa Krispies (only better). If you measure your servings by weight, you will find the box holds quite a bit. I eat double servings, so 56g per bowl (approximately 1 cup) and I get 4 bowls out of it. The cereal is mostly protein and a bit of fiber, so with half a cup of almond milk to 1 cup of cereal, this is a tasty and VERY filling meal. I have only three minor complaints: 1. It is quite expensive- but then again so are all keto foods. 2. If you dont order other items with your cereal, Amazon will put it in a soft envelope where it WILL be crushed. 3. I do get a bit of a stomach ache after eating. I suspect its the MCTs, as that feeling is familiar to when I used to take MCT oil daily (which I no longer do for several health reasons). I say give it a try, and if you like it keep rolling, and if you hate it, don't buy it again and at least you tried!

Yes! A tiny box of Chocolate Butt Cereal for $12!
For almost $12 a box I expected so much more - in terms of both quality and quantity. The consistency/texture was like stale rice crispies. Half of the cereal was clumping in the box. The flavor, I imagine, is what butt tastes like. I was still determined to finish it because I spent $12 on it (not because I like the way butt supposedly tastes) and so my wife wouldn't get mad for wasting money. The only way I could manage to eat this butt cereal was to really soak it in milk (or to trick my toddler daughter into eating it..she just spat it out and said "yuck, that's what butt probably tastes like!"). As soon as you add a little milk the "chocolate butt" flavor washed off the cereal and you were left with stale rice crispies in butt milk. I do admit that it was my mistake for not checking the amount of butt cereal that came in such a tiny box. I just assumed I would get a decent amount of butt for $12...just saying. Honestly, if you are looking for a high protein, low carb snack/meal/breakfast just have a protein shake or bar.. you can do better than this chocolate butt in a box cereal. One pro: It could be good April Fools joke for your kids..put this "cereal" in a box of chocolate rice crispies and watch your kids spit and cry out "ew, butt!" So in conclusion: buy this to get a tiny box of clumpy, stale rice crispy chocolate butt cereal that kids won't even touch for $12.

Expensive cereal with okay taste!
First let me say that I love love chocolate, powder, dark, milk, white I love it all. So I was super excited to try this because who can mess up chocolate?!? Well....for a healthy cereal with no sugar alcohols, this is a solid 3 stars. I’m not sure what kind of chocolate they use but it tastes nothing like any chocolate I’ve ever tasted. The cereal was a bit harder than normal cereal, but softened a bit once I let it sit for a while in almond milk. I was extremely disappointed in the amount of cereal you get for this price. The box is a bit bigger than an iPhone 7. It’s OUTRAGEOUS but it seems there’s a monopoly going on as nearly all the Keto cereal’s are between $10-$15 for an 8oz-11oz bag. Normal cereal cost $2-$6 and I can find that price in bulk (64oz), so the lies that this is a “good deal” are extremely exaggerated. In the end I personally don’t think it’s worth it. There are tons of videos on YouTube that show you how to make your own cereal and trust me, it costs wayyy less and taste at least 3x’s better. So I would say buy at your own risk. The good part about this cereal is I did stay fuller longer without feeling gassy. Which Honey Bunches of Oats, for $2.88, does but they aren’t Keto friendly.

Good Value With Small Size
As someone who does keto, it can be hard to find products on the internet that are not going to have hidden sugars or hurt their carb intake. However, when I found this cereal, I was kind of shocked! I was all like, “Huh, they make cereal?? Since when??”. It can also be difficult to find keto products that don’t taste like the backside of a tire that just drove through the Sahara desert. Or, in other words, not really tasty products. But, with this cereal? I actually found myself enjoying it with some Almond milk! It really did taste like chocolate—which shocked me haha. The only downside I have with this product is the size of the bag and the cost of the product. Understandably, the prices of keto products can be really up there in price, making it a more expensive way to eat. But, if the product is going to cost around 12 dollars? Then, there should be some sort of standard to make the product a little bigger. The bag inside of the box wasn’t horribly small, but was only enough for one person to enjoy three or four bowls of cereal (assuming you’re pouring an adequate size). Otherwise? I would recommend this product if you wanted to get back into some type of cereal! The only thing I cannot give advice upon is if this would affect anyone who is diabetic, or has to watch out for their blood sugar in general (as I am not medically inclined to give advice nor do I have enough information in general).

Incredibly Overpriced, and Not Very Satisfying
Let's start with the most obvious concern - the price. At 12 dollars a box, I wouldn't even call this expensive. The price is straight up outrageous. I would be hard pressed to say any small box of cereal is worth even half that price. This cereal is not worth the full asking price, no questions about it. So let's say this cereal is on sale, or you are on the Keto Diet and you are REALLY craving cereal and this is your only available option. Should you buy it? Sadly, still no. This cereal is a poor attempt at a healthy version of something like crisped rice cereal. The predominant flavor is not chocolate, but rather alternative sweeteners. At first, the chocolate seems to balance with the sweetness, but as you make your way through a bowl, the sweetness overpowers all of the other flavors and leaves an odd aftertaste for a while. I am also getting a strange bit of sourness in the background that I do not get from other chocolate cereals - not sure if that is from the chocolate or something else. The texture is okay. It does the good job of approximating traditional cereal at first, but as the milk of your choice soaks into the cereal, it gets a gummy texture. on the outside. The inside does stay crisp/crunchy though, so this cereal got one thing right. Overall, there is no way that I could recommend this cereal at the current price point. There are a lot of other healthy options out there with better taste at a better price.

Yummy but
Ok. The copy/paste is after this part. The only problem I had with this, is the box and amount of cereal you get is small. It’s like 1/2 or 1/3 the size of a regular box of cereal. So I’m a little upset about that part. Ok, here’s the copy and paste portion: First keto friendly food that tasted good for me. I tried some cauliflower junk that almost made me gag. And some keto friendly Atkins bars which were equally disgusting; I like the regular Atkins, just not their keto friendly products. And then I came to this was expecting it to be nasty. Needless to say, after my first bag of cookies, I went back and ordered 2 other flavors, some cereal, some pancake and blueberry mix, and some strawberry granola mix lol. I’m going to just copy and paste this on the other products I purchased. This is a good tasting brand. To the point that I had to question if it was really keto friendly lol. Because it tastes just as good as a regular non-keto product. So you get the great flavor with the healthier choice for your diet or eating lifestyle. I definitely recommend this brand. Not just the product, the brand. I haven’t tried everything. But what I’ve tried has me trusting this brand for all or most of my keto snack eating.
