Teekanne Tea Black Currant 20 Bags

Love this tea, hot or cold. Full of flavour. Actually tastes like black currents

This is the first black currant tea I've really enjoyed. Most taste like black tea with a little black currant flavor. This one is black currant with a little tea flavor underneath. I steep for 3 - 5 minutes and I drink without sweetener. My hubby liked his with a touch of honey. It is also incredible when iced. So I'm ordering another box just for summer.

I love this tea. I purchased it without having tried it and the first cup I drank tasted odd. I don't know if I wasn't used to the slightly tart flavor or what it was that made me dislike it at first, but each cup thereafter I've loved. I drink it over ice and it's a great change from other typical flavored teas like peach or mango. I'll always have it on hand now. Try it. I'll also add that all the Teekanne favors are outstanding. This is truly an exceptional brand of tea so give them all a try.

I have tried many of the Teekanne teas and this is one of my favorites. Teekanne has a variety of fruit teas and other flavored teas as well.

Great fruit tea with a nice tangy very pronounced black currant taste! Very refreshing and comforting during the cold time. Can't consume caffeine so this tea works great for me.

Teekanne is one of my go-to brands for tisanes when I want bags rather than loose leaf tea, but I found the lemon to be a bit overpowering in this one. To me Teekanne is normally a 4-star tier cup of tea, with Turkish apple being a solid 5 stars. So that is the standard I'm measuring it against here.

It is hard to find a black currant tea that tastes like a proper black currant tea and not like an overly produced fruit drink mix. Sadly, this one tastes just like that. Though the box does indicate 'artificially flavored', I was not expecting something that tasted like a watered-down fruit drink. No matter how long I let the tea steep, the tea did not develop in flavor. It was horrible bland! Made hot, this is somewhat awful. However, made as an iced tea, it is acceptable. I think the combination is just not right for my taste. Having said that, Teekanne is one of my most favorite tea companies, next to Messmer. So, for those of you looking for a true tasting black currant tea made of black tea, this is not the one for you.

Delicious tea. It's one of my favourite. It tastes exactly like blackcurrants and it smells incredible. Quality if the packaging is very nice, the packet is also suitable as a gift. Although, it's not the cheapest tea on the market, it's so tasty, that I'm willing to pay slightly more for a good tea. I'm a big fan of Teekanne teas, and this one didn't disappoint me either.
