Just as I had expected it to be. Lard cans use to be plentiful in this area when everybody home butchered hogs, but not any more. The price was several dollars cheaper than the only hardware store in the area had them.

This Lard Tin came on time. I used it to cook my Thanksgiving turkey. It LEAKED all over my stove top in small mounds of black drip. It was the largest bloches of black mounds that were nearly impossible to remove without marring my stove top. I WOULD LIKE A CREDIT TO MY ACCOUNT OR A REPLACEMENT CAN THAT IS GUARANTEED NOT TO LEAK.

Wish it were a little heavier, but seems to be pretty good. Not like the old fashion ones but about the best I have seen. Does the job.UPDATE. After sometime I'm rather disappointed, cans are rusting.... For the money sure would have liked them to hold up a little longer...

Great storage
Great nostalgic storage. Air tight .. we use this at our business to store bulk amounts of unpopped popcorn
