ROBERTS 70-180 100 Square Foot Quiet Cushion Premium Acoustical Underlayment Roll

Just finished installing 250 square feet of Mohawk 7 mm laminate flooring in our kitchen using this underlayment. I am very happy with the results. I don't know how much the underlayment contributed to it but the floor is perfectly quiet - no clicking or other sounds that other people complain about with floating floors. The adhesive strip/overlap film is effective and easy to use for joining adjacent lengths. The underlayment is durable, I did not create any tears walking and crawling across it during the floor installation. The only tears were caused when my mallet aim was off center on the tapping block and dug it into the underlayment. This would result in a small tear and ripple that I just smoothed back into place. I feel this product is a good balance between quality (very similar to the underlayment that is pre-attached to some laminate flooring boards) and cost.

It was easy to install before my vinyl floor. Had a moisture wick barrier, great value. Floor is snug and quiet. Id use again….

Works just as well as similar products costing 30+% more at building supply stores

I used this product for acoustic damper under engineered wood flooring on a wooden stair case. Works well but not amazingly well. Using the leftovers as acoustic treatment under the tracks on a model railway layout. Good but not fantastic.

High quality cushion for a very affordable price. Had to wait a couple of weeks as the product was on back order, but the product was well worth the wait. My husband installed laminate flooring and used this cushion under the flooring, making for a quiet and comfortable flooring.

Nice thin underlayment for engineered flooring. Rolls out, lays flat, withstands walking on it (socks). Quiet and firm.

Good made stuff

Great product but does not roll flat...has ripples which makes installation difficult....but sound absorption is great!
