Do I need to wash my hair after using it？And I need to use it with hair dry or wet？

I use it after I wash and towel dry my hair, so my hair is still damp.

Can this be used on animals? Like the shampoo? XD

Why would you want to? It might say Mane 'N Tail, but I use it for human hair to make it beautifully glossy and manageable.

Do you have to wash it out or can it stay in?

I use the cream in my beard. When applied it stays in. If I do not wash it out and go to scratch my beard, some of the cream will come out since its still present and holding. I recommend for sanitary reasons just washing it out after human use.

Will this support a (medium-large) pompadour while retaining the smell of the original shampoo?

Doubt it. It’s very light. For a pompadour you need something a little heavier. I suggest using suavecito pomade. I’ve been using it the past few years for styling and it’s the only product that agrees with me. I like using the suavecito product because it’s light but manages to retain shape and is not harsh on sensitive skin. It never flakes. This mane and tail product is more of a conditioner.
