Great option for personal lab/non certified use.
I love these things, great for measuring everything from my cat to rolls of filament after drying to see how many milligrams of moisture has been removed, to anything else in my lab that does not require milligram accuracy. They are sold under probably a half dozen different gibberish-name Chinese vendors but they all come from the same factory. They have a hidden menu that allows you to change settings that are explained nowhere in the manual - if you are the curious type of person who likes exploring into digital systems you should be careful as I changed it from a 5 kg max/0.01 g resolution scale to a 100g max / 0.001 g setting. Of course the load cell did not cooperate and there are about a hundred different options to choose from which are anything but clearly described in the menu. Long story short it took me a couple hours to get it set back correctly but I really wish the manufacturer would not give instructions on how to access a menu and then only explain a couple of the functions! (Not that I wouldn't have found the menu on my own, but still...)Overall I'm very happy with the purchase and have ordered three of them for different locations.

Good balance
I'm a little confused about how to rate this. I wanted to buy a 500-g capacity balance. The one I got came with a 500 g calibrated weight...but the balance only goes up to 322 g because the tray weighs 178 g. Technically it goes up to 500 g if I remove the try ..but no one ever does that. Therefore, the description is misleading. On the other hand, this is not a big problem because I do not have to weigh 300+ g, so I decided not to return this. The balance is accurate to 0.05 g (my lightest calibration standard), which was surprising. It's easy to level, it's not very heavy...So, overall, for $111, and for my needed accuracy, I am very satisfied with this instrument. 👍

FANTASTIC kitchen scale
I could have sworn I already reviewed the Bonvoisin Lab Scale 5000gx0.01g High Precision Electronic Analytical Balance 0.01g Accuracy? Anyway, it is Fantastic, almost unbelievable. It is incredibly sensitive and has a huge capacity. I am using it in the kitchen for precise measurements of food calories and nutrients. You can put an entire heavy cast iron skillet on the Bonvoisin, tare (zero) the scale with one button push, and then add your food and it will read out the amount of food to ±0.01 grams. When making a salad, I place the bowl on the scale, tare it, add lettuce and record the value, tare, add tomato, record, tare, add broccoli, etc. I later enter all values into a custom Excel spreadsheet and determine my exact calories, fat, carbs, protein, and other nutrients for the day. It was very revealing as I found most of my calories were coming from the Olive Oil dressing and the Red Wine I was drinking with the meal. I cut back on Olive Oil and reduced number of glasses of wine. This is a great, convenient scale with high capacity and high precision.

If you’re making a batch of biscuits never mind fluctuations of a few hundreths of. Gram
One customer was disappointed with fluctuating readings that would not settle down to a stable readout.I had the same problem until I turned off the fan and air conditioner. I made sure not to exhale when facing it at a close distance.I enjoy demonstrating to company while gently blowing on it from a distance of a foot or two. They are amazed when the moving airMakes the numbers rise and return to original reading. Try it.

I consider this scale accurate to .1gr
For those who want to know the accuracy of this scale, I've made the following measurements.Weight. Reading (grams)200. 200.31100. 100.1650. 50.0825. 25.0420. 20.0510. 10.005. 5.002.5 2.532. 2.031. 1.03.700 0.70.500 0.50.400 0.40.300 0.30.200 0.20.100 0.10The scale shows a stable, consistent reading. I am very happy with the scale so far. I make no guarantees about the accuracy of my standard weights. This is for reference only. I made these readings with the scale taken right out of the box. I didn't do any calibrations, and don't recommend that you do either.

Doesn’t weigh accurately
I had high hopes for this as I needed a good scale to weigh coins. For coins, to make sure you don’t have a replica, the weight has to be exact. This scale kept bouncing numbers up and down. I calibrated it numerous times to see if maybe that was the problem but nope. Then I thought maybe it was not set right but after checking it throughly and giving it so many tries, ultimately I decided to return it. I’m going to spend more money on a scale I see a lot of coin shops use. It looks sturdy and capable but ultimately it did not work.
