I purchased this camera specifically for a Wild Dolphin Swim I was going on in Hawaii. I attached it to my dive mask and just left it on until the battery ran out. Since it was the first time I used it, I figured whatever it gets, it gets. The quality of the audio/video was excellent out of the water, but found I really needed to be closer to whatever I was trying to video while in the water...my fault, not the camera's; I was surprised how clear the audio was underwater as well. The housing was certainly watertight, and kept the camera perfectly dry; the camera was easy to operate in the waterproof housing. What I didn't expect, and have to do some research on, is that instead of getting one continuous video from the time I started the camera, I found the camera did keep recording, but I had multiple videos in 10-minute segments. If that is how the camera works, I will start and stop it as needed next time. This is certainly a worthwhile investment if you are looking for this style camera. It comes with mounts for just about every application, and the camera, waterproof housing and mounts all seem durable and well built.

One thing that was not mentioned in the description was the battery life. This was important at the time I purchased because I was going on a trip so I would have purchased an additional battery to charge prior. I took it zip lining and the battery died around halfway during the 5 hour tour and of course no solution in the middle of the woods. The attachments were good because we were able to easily mount it on my helmet and the picture is nice. It was drizzling that day and we had the plastic cover over it. Later when we viewed the video, we noticed that the microphone was picking up all the raindrops that were hitting the plastic cover, this can't be helped. You could still hear people's voices over the raindrops. I really like this camera, it was a good purchase.

I received the camera as promised. I have not had much of a chance to use the camera yet. I purchased it to take on a trip to the Keys in 2 weeks. A friend of mine had purchased this model and showed me some of the video he took at Disney. The quality looked as though it had been filmed by a professional crew. I had been looking for a second waterproof camera to use for snorkeling and boating. When he told me about this one, I had to check it out. For the quality of video he showed me, you can't beat the price. It looks easy enough to use. The instructions are minimal, but are detailed enough and non-technical enough that they explain all the features easily. All of the accessories are pictured with diagrams on how to attach them. Overall, I am impressed so far. I will update this review after my trip.

I find the camera to be an extremely good value for the price. Especially compared to the GoPro. My own experiences have included three years worth of attaching it to my mask on open water scuba diving to depths of up to 80', attaching it to my helmet during vespa rides (~25 mph), and numerous fun videos in the pool or with family/friends. I find the video/image transfer to be easy and the quality of my images are at the resolution advertised by the manufacturer (apologies I don't recall what it is atm). The battery life, with a full charge, has always lasted through a days worth of activities (~6 hours worth of diving).I needed to learn how to easily open the airtight underwater case as it was not intuitive to me originally. To me this raises my confidence in the integrity of the underwater feature at low depths but it was also pretty hard to open the case when I first got it.

Ordered this camera for an upcoming vacation, the camera arrived with all accessories indicated and is simple to use. I have only had it a few days and haven't been able to get it in water yet but the pictures I took turned out great. The camera still functions perfect and it does videos but the audio will not play on any of my devices, always get a message saying media type not supported but after a quick reply from the seller the issue was resolved by downloading a new video player that was MOV format capable..

The second day of using the camera it wouldn't turn on. Tried charging, still didn't work. Tried removing and reinstalling the battery, still no good. I liked the camera while it worked. It came with a large assortment of mounts that would allow you to mount it on just about anything, just like Go Pro.I wish it would have worked OK. They are refunding my money, I might buy it again. I'll have to think about it.... :).

This product is better than I thought it would be. All functions are as advertised or better. The instruction book is easy enough to understand also.I have had no problem with using the wireless function on both Android or Iphone.The picture / video quality is very acceptable. While it is not a Gopro it also is no where near the price of one.Do not hesitate to buy this camera.

The Sportshot Full HD 1080P is going to give GroPro a run for its, takes great video nice and clear I use it for mtb and I have it mounted to my mx helmet. the hardware that came with the Sportshot has everything you need to mount for different activity's, I just bought a second one to use with my drone. If you decide to go the cheaper rout and not spend 300 plus for a GoPro you will not be disappointed, great value and video for the price.
